They seriously need to release USF4 with a better lobby. Damn at least give us that. Rollback, patch, etc would be nice but I'll settle for a better lobby
Then she's technically not broken. The definition of a broken character for me is one which carries the player, rather than the player carrying the character. High execution characters can't be broken seeing there's more chance of dropping the thing that would break the game.
Smug plays a character that can do 50% damage off that OP overhead and then kill them With a reset and he has the audacity to call ibuki broken when he got outplayed.
It's almost like some characters have some strengths and weaknesses huh. Dudley has to get into that range first and his neutral tools as Smug has said, are not the best.
@@OmegaTKB I respectfully disagree. I don’t think Dudley has any weaknesses . Dudley has some of the best normals in the game and one of the best focus attacks so I can’t believe smug said that In all seriousness. I have played this game since vanilla and I believe Dudley has been underestimated from the start. It’s more the fact that smug has been washing people for years and when he meets his match he blames it on a “ broken “ character . I didn’t think that was keeping it classy in the spirit of Dudley.
Biggest reason hes strugglin is shes great at locking out smugs offense before he starts. Once dudley gets momentum going, it goes as expected but ibuki can generate that momentum faster and hold it easier because smug tends not to use dudleys counter at all to reset neutral

There are a couple ways to do standing techs. Firstly, a special move that uses lk or lp, just plink one into the other, e.g. quarter circle lk~lp. You can do a back-walking special with that to get the timing down. You can also piano a s.hp down to lp~lk, for example.
It’s that and Hashihiro her Kunai storm Ultra which is her Ultra 2 it’s actually rare to see an USFIV Ibuki running her Ultra 1 from the videos I’ve watched of USFIV I could be wrong tho. I don’t know if Smug running Dudley’s Ultra 2 has something to do with the Ibuki using her Ultra 1.
At 36:01 some characters have random animations that play when they get hit which causes buttons to whiff on combo. Guy and Vega for example will randomly get hit by Dudley f.mk st.mp and other times it whiffs. All depends on which hitting animation plays.

ibuki was fire in Capcom vs SNK lowkey one of my favorite characters and probably the strongest in that game just from the amount of combos you can get out of her.
I’m pretty sure Ibuki never appeared in the Capcom Vs SNK games or any of the SF cross over games to my knowledge well minus Street fighter X Tekken other then that I don’t think she appeared in any other games like that.
I really wish they would give the keys to the community to actually patch the game or something, allow some buffs and nerfs, we all know some characters are totally useless, overnerfed, and some of the last characters that came out are totally imba... Some matchups are totally not ok lol But i mean there are so many characters, balancing the whole shit is litterally impossible... You would have to have seasons or something...
Smug how do you stop DP mashers. Everytime they get an opportunity I get dp mashed. They mash on wake-up. Mash on my block strings. Mash on my jump ins. People literally win by landing 8 mashed dp’s it’s frustrating as f cuz all these players are trash but get away with the cheese shit
Mashing is a strategy. You gotta see every spam as a pattern because it is one tbh. Go into a match with the intention of being defensive & you'll see most "mashers" stick to a certain pattern whenever they see a punish, which is usually a DP on wake-up or in the middle of you doing a combo because they've found YOUR pattern of not blocking on wake-up or seeing a weak spot in your combo. Sometimes its going to happen & be unpredictable but there are ways around mashers. Id just say be more defensive & careful intentionally & you'll figure them out quickly.
Well at least it appears that her strength is her speed because her "actual strength" is her weakness. I mean seriously....how many hits does it take to reach the center of her opponant's tootsie roll (aka get them dazed)?
