@@stateazure i second what Collin is saying... your music and the incredible community you/we have has led me to find so many great little channels... also you just cost me a fortune in audiophile quality speakers haha (money i saved by not having a holiday lol ) but saved my sanity during the last 2 years of this crazy lockdown... so im now back working full time, have everything i need, even found a girlfriend lol, only one thing left to do and that is to learn how to modular synthesise and buy myself some gear.. next year after winter.. so any tips on which gear to start with will be very appreciated... oh and do you have any vinyl's coming in the future?

I agree with Collin; SA's magical music and sound is the trigger that pulled me into Modular finally, and this has been the most delightful, creative evolution of my own musical career in decades. Thank you doesn't come close to my level of appreciation :-)

Thanks, Marco. No cue used, just main outs to Big Sky and Capistan, but very subtle as there is already some reverb baked into the sample loops. Tracks 7 and 8 are copies of earlier tracks, 7 is the piano again but pitched up an octave which I bring in just now and again to add those high sprinkles. It's a real basic setup!

Yes, I usually record at 48khz 32bit and render to 44/16, so the Blue Box is fine for me.

Hey C B...I did replace the Mackie in my setup with the Bluebox and it works very well. I use a Novation Launch Control XL linked via midi to the Bluebox for faders, aux sends and panning. I have outboard Strymon effects on the two aux sends. I had no problems and it was a painless switch...and you get track-by-track recording without a computer in the bargain. You will need to be careful with cable routing and power management to avoid ground loop noise and I did have to incorporate a Pyle noise canceler on one of the aux send loops to kill some noise issues. All together, it's a great solution and is a quarter the size of my old arrangement.

Me. The loops are pre-recorded.

The samples are looped and just continue to run without any sequencer/start points or syncing...The Octatrack is barely doing much when using it this way, but sometimes it's just fun to mix the various free running loops together.
