This has annoyed me since the day I first took my driver’s test at that ICBC in 1998. That stop sign is such a confusing gotcha to put right at the beginning of the test. So unfair!
@@MrAhmedalfares Which book would that be? If you review page 46 of the ICBC Learn to Ride Smart book, it shows the four stopping scenarios for intersections. A stop sign only tells you what to do, it does not tell you WHERE to do it. Page 46 states "Where there is no stop line, no crosswalk and no sidewalk, stop just before you enter the intersection.". There is no obligation or MVA requirement to stop at the stop sign itself.
I would have stopped just bfor stop sign , slow rolled and put left indicator then stopped bfor the road and scanned intersection bfor proceeding left.
