Ice Age National Scenic Trail (Trade River Segment) - Gandy Dancer to 140th Street (South) Trailhead

This hike begins where the Ice Age Trail (IANST) separates from the Gandy Dancer State Trail at the Wisconsin Highway 35 underpass. The trail then follows a dirt road for 0.3-miles until reaching the 150th Street Trailhead. The IANST then heads into the woods. After clearing the woods, it passes along the edge of a large meadow filled with wildflowers. This stretch is about 1.3-miles long and ends at the 140th Street (North) Trailhead. Finally, for the last 0.4-miles, the trail is a southbound road walk along 140th Street, a rural road, ending at the 140th Street (South) Trailhead.
The next 0.8 miles of the IANST is undeveloped and follows roads until reaching the Straight River Segment to the east.
Total hiking distance for this section is about 2-miles. This section of the IANST is part of the 4.7-mile Trade River Segment.
