nope if you decide to adopt a kangal in a suburban area training and early socialization are a must if you want a controlled calm and predictable dog..
These dogs are not pets, they are working dogs so they have their own initiative of decisions. They need livestock. They are not trainable because centuries of DNA transfer tell them to do differently than you try to teach them to do.
Thank you . a voice of reason . My kangal was " trained" as a puppy and up until about two years and then when she left school, her training stayed at the school 😂
I adopted my boy 2years old, not knowing that he is a Kangal mix. The first weeks were ok, then he started his Protection mode on me and my other dog, which is epileptic. No one is allowed to come near us and other dogs are a danger, that needs to be threatend. I started with changing his behaviour, but it is a long road Toner go.
Wooow really Amazing to see , a Male Anatole , so social with other dogs of the same gender! I would have Anatolian Shepard but the only reason i dont take one ,is that iam afraid that it turn into a fighting dog. So this Video gives me some hope. I like to know, if there is a difference in behavoir, in differend Bloodlines?? ps excuuse my bad english typing!
Dw it turning into a fighting dog.they are fantastic when socialised they're like different dogs so friendly etc.i have one I great dogs so easy to train need their freedom only care for your affection doesn't care that much about food but will work for it to please u no matter what
They don’t fight. They avoid fighting more than any breed but when they do…its the game over. Otherwise they are sweet and loving. I have a 16 weeks old Kangal and he is just amazing. Go for it my friend 👌🏼🦮
That is just beautiful. I wish my Kangalmix would look at me like this dog. And would stay this calm around other dogs. She does not use an e-collar, great! 👍
You're professional but this dog is not a working dog. This is a shepherd dog and they need to protect the herd. They dont need any command for humanity. They have to be natural in the mother nature.
Zikri demirezen please, explain why I'm not smart. I'm not the idiot who thinks a dog bred by people is a wild animal needing no contact with people. Dumbass
You're an idiot because their job is protection the herd! not obey people's rules and these dogs need contact with people more than working dogs because their mission is so hard and they require human attention.
Great to see an Anatolian shepherd be so receptive to training! A lot of folks say that Anatolians, Kangals, and Aksaray Malaklisi’s are stubborn but I think it’s simply the lack of training and patience. And this is an Anatolian, not a Kangal (the skull is too blocky, like a Malaklisi).
@@OgedayKaan Greece Name Anna tolia not exist till 1000 years ago sleep further, Turks named it Anadolu it has verry diffrent meaning then greece name Anna!!! Kangal Came from Central Asia with the first Turks.
@@efoefo6479 ok, no problem. I use "anatolian shepherd" as these dogs are known with this name globally. I only wanted to mention that kangal is one of the breeds of turkish shepherd dogs like malakli, yörük etc.
@@AdolescentDogsUK yes but over 2000 edited videos doesnt prove anything to me sorry. If convincing me is your goal then i would need to see long unedited videos that shows the reality. And not a few lucky moments captured.
Impressive, mine is very... let’s say wild. But he’s much bigger and will kill and usually eat anything that comes on the property. He can sit tho and I️ believe he understands the concept of stay! I️ can do all that fancy stuff with my Malinois tho.
