Ice Boating on White Bear Lake 1/30/24 

That is dream ice for an ice boater. In the 60s I had a DN 60 on Lake Erie. When the ice was 3" you better go boating quick because a 6" snow is on its way and that could torpedo your winter fun. Great video!

The land speed record of around 100mph was held up into the 20th century by a huge ice-boat on the Hudson River. A good breeze will set you right back in that little seat, like putting the pedal to the metal in a new Vette!

Growing up on SoCal, we obviously didn't do this. I big fear I think I'd have is the ice breaking.
