2-4, though there is a stand-alone expansion “Ice Cool 2” which can be combined with the base game to play up to 8, or be played 2-4 on its own.

@@dominik5551 they get used to it. On the plus side the newest game they've made has softer pieces, or so they say I haven't actually seen them in person
