I'm so glad I came up in that era. Straight DUDES performing rap / hip hop, and beats were slammin'. It is still dope and hits the depths of your soul when it drops.
A year late, but hear me out. Saw Snoop and Wiz on the High School Reunion Tour, Everything you described and more, even got to hear Wiz and Snoop perform "I got Five on It" another legend of it's time.
Yall discrediting a lot of rappers that kill it nowadays like flatbush, clipping, anonymouz, under achievers, Rob sonic, IDK, JID, Cordea(someone ice cube has said is on par with rap from his days), maxo kream, hail Mary mallon, I could list more. Yall need to stop listening to garbage and letting whack rappers blow up the scene. Give credit to the ones still holding it down
Don't nobody do it better than this guy here. Absolutely nobody! I play this thing over and over and Ice Cube on the verse makes that walk even more vicious!!!!
I've been working on my c walk. It's theoretically very simple, but hard to pull off. I find that listening to Cypress Hill helps. I'm White by the way.
@@RoachDogg_JRvery simple…I do it right sometimes and get excited and then fuck up so I need to stay humble and realize I got it and just go with the damn floooooooow‼️😂😂😂😂😂
Had the privilege of being front row for this.... as a young English lad 20 years old this was my first live event and it blew my mind. Still does watching this back...gives me goosebumps 💯 Keep it gangster ya'll
I remember after this dropped, damn near EVERYBODY was trying to do the Crip Walk by 2002-2003, lol. It became the new dance fad, like 'Jerkin' back in 2009 or the 'Harlem Shake' in 2013.
People who weren’t around to understand how volatile it was for them west side crips to be on the east coast raising HELL like that can never truly grasp how explosive that moment was
I love it how they during the C walk cube ran off stage in order to set up that scenario where WC was like where the fuck cube at then they got the crowd screaming fuck you ice cube then cube just runs out spitting the nigga ya love to hate it was a perfect way to set up for that song
Cube ran off as he knew that C-walk needed it's own stage! Historic moves! Just wished Cube followed up a gangsta 2 step! Westside Connection are the beasts of gangsta rap.
2022-4 to the side-15 down the stage. For the audience...it was Magic. This goes on my list of "The time a performer 'Caught fire' on the stage." Dub C (WC), you did that...That day!
@@ok-tv6jc I dont care if u dont like im but dont disrespect like that,Ice cube been interacting with people on both West and East and made one of the best of the best mutherficking diss track, was NWA song writer, made multiple fucking movies and is one of the most known rappers and actors.
@@daveromero8482 i aint black but im an ethnic romanian(more specific a mixture of white and orange but im getting darker now,but when i was younger i was white and ive been listening to this songs since 9 almost 10,but yh he sounds like hes probably one of those nerdy people
The respect. Brother acknowledged and proceeded to ask. If he had done the walk without that brief qualitative method, another fight would've broken out. That's gangsta.
