@@dharts5222 Actually it worked pretty well. Laws were changed, the movement went mainstream and gained tons of allies, hundreds of new diversity jobs opened up at companies all around the country. I don't care for the tactics, but effectiveness can't be questioned.

@@gaffle-411 or or, crazy idea, he is famous so the algorithm favors him when people see he has a channel and click it as opposed some random dude. Plus, he has a great personality which makes it much easier to watch than inexperienced people that are just trying out one time.

Every job I’ve ever worked tried too play me. It wasn’t until I became tangibly upset, that they gave me the respect I deserved. Ironically they wanted too be friends after that. I was actually railroaded by the court system many years ago. They have knowledge of the situation I was involved in that I didn't know, so how could I have my word of what really happened. And then I find out later. Luckily it was just a slap in the hand but it could've been way better... But that's the game
I think it's obvious that alot of aspects of life need improvement but self improvement resides internally. There are online MCA lenders who will offer an advance quickly within 24 hours regardless of you pigmentation. Ask how many people in poverty communities have goals?? Ask parents what are they doing to mold their children's future. Physical descriptions will always be judged positively and negatively by others but it should never tamper with your will to excel as an individual or connect with others. Plan ahead, work hard and commit to growth rather than hope for opportunity to come knocking on your door.

The banks don't influence culture. People do. Education does. Raising kids who believe not that the world around them is keeping them down, but they live in a country where they are free to pursue their dreams. Education is key.

Most American Descendants Of Slavery parents raise their children to believe that they are capable of achieving and succeeding in the world and they are prepared to do so....but often they are met with obstacles that are placed before them because of their race......there are still spaces that we aren’t allowed into because of our race....we understand that people should be free to pursue their dreams.... we raise our children to believe this....we even raise our children to understand that they must be prepared in such a way that they are over qualified but yet the obstacles are there.
@@pavlovsworld9122 Before Dr. King was assassinated.....He spoke of a different direction or path that the movement was to take.....He spoke of how white immigrants were given land and federal support while the Freedman had been promised land and support only for all to be denied ....in what may have been Dr. King’s last speech he spoke of all of this and he said that American Descendants Of Slavery were told by whites to pull themselves up by their bootstraps....but how could they do so when they had no boots.....Dr. King saw all of this and decided that in their next campaign when they took the movement to Washington, DC.....there would a demand for the same help that was given to the white immigrants.....the land and support that had been denied to American Descendants Of Slavery originally......

Mr. Cube. If you would stop separating yourself from others, you could get a lot more force behind you. Why do you think half of these things that are in the contract aren't already in place? They just aren't laid out for one race only. For some reason you want a " just give it to us not them" type of program. Anyone can participate in these programs now. The model of success is there. Look at the states and how they are ran. One which I lived in gave me a clear view to how to share the wealth. I'd love to have a platform and discuss ways and means to succeed. When you have think tanks set to discuss and implement structural reforms and changes we will see change. Two people having this conversation is a start. But it's going to take more. And Shannon, Lebron, Shaq needs to listen and be a part, because it takes money. The present banks will deplete our strength, and proven successful involvement is required. I'm ready for the conversation and willing to sacrifice to achieve this needed goal for exsistance. He’s saying that blacks’ level of wealth should be equitable, based upon our population and economic power. I would imagine that he doesn’t necessarily mind if whites have the majority of wealth, considering that they make up the majority of the population. But they shouldn’t have 90-something percent of the wealth.

@@levelupnw FHA was introduced in 1968. I agree that it was a horrible sales practice but there's no evidence that banks and lenders discriminate African Americans today.
Dr King said did not endorse actual riots when he said that "riots was the language of the unheard". He was simply opining on why certain elements of the civil rights movement were opposed to his non-violent protesting philosophy. Shannon Sharpe needs to read a bit more on what Dr King actually believed.
I don’t think banks look at race and skin color when giving loans. They look at qualifications. Having said that, filling out a application for a loan takes some know how. Maybe we need to put together courses on what banks are looking for when we apply.....
They need to make it right with all Americans but it’s not going to happen for a very long time and instead of reforming the police how bought we upgrade there Technology that way they have better ways to stop criminals without shooting them with a Taser or a gun we need better Technology for them and we let them down and better training
