You must not be listening to anything outside the mainstream. These guys seem incapable of rapping about anything other than how long they've been around, how big their names are, and how hard they are... yeah, up in their mansions, well away from anything resembling 'the street.'
@@user-ty3sj1sj1v When you say "other than the mainstream" in the context of your sentence, are you referring to songs by these same artists that weren't big singles, or are you saying to listen to entire other artists who aren't mainstream-famous? Because the latter is what I meant; there is a lot of talented lyricism in underground hip-hop. There are exceptions, but underground is pretty much all I listen to anymore as far as hip-hop is concerned. As for these particular artists, Ice Cube can be easily argued for imo; he was my favorite rapper all through the '90s and early '00s. He definitely had real shit to say. Xzibit was a shallow lyricist, but still obviously talented at stringing words together and I loved his music when he was putting out albums. Dre and Snoop... not so much. I feel like I gave those two a pretty fair chance, but I could never really get into them and feel like they're some of the most overrated out there.
Love all of you. So much fire on this track. And Xzibit? Damnnnnn! Ya'll killed it like always! See you on February 24th Cube. Never seen you before. Much love from your native girl ❤️
I really like so much this kind of Rap man, This is What I call real Rap I've been following Ice Cube, Dr Dree, and Snoop Dogg and even now I watch their videos from long time.
You did it! You put it out real! The slap in the face they deserved, after what they did to you! So proud!!!!!!! Representing like you did when you first started out, how it should be! And I love that you have Dre an Xzibit in there. Gen X, old school! This is fire! 🔥
