Man...., I'm just sitting here watching this and feeling straight proud with a smile on my face and a half a tear in eye. Seeing this dude burst on to my tv screen 1988 with the premiere of the Straight Outta Compton video on MTV in the summer of '88 and to see him getting his own star on Hollywood Blvd, man Cube...you're nothing short of a bonified and solidified living legend. I've been a fan from day one, got all his music, seen many shows and will continue playing his music till I die. Cube, congratz bro, much love and respect to you and yours!!!!! 👊
Cube is a legend and an icon without question. Sometimes people tend to throw around the words legends and icons too much, but this brother fits that description to a 'T'. I was bumping this cat's music as far back as the late 80's and i'm still bumping it today. Great music, great films and a star on the Walk Of Fame some 30 years after he started in the game. His influence and impact on music is still felt today, congratulations Cube.
I just had to see this. I love Ice Cube. He is an iconic figure in our community. His body of work allowed to us to see inside the world of South Central LA. His genius he gave to the world as a gift and we embraced it. Love you Cube be blessed.
I feel like they are now remembering to award all those who defined the 90s; Tarantino, Kurt Russell, Ice Cube etc.. Is it because there's nobody so talented right now like they used to be back in the days?
I believe that the reason why their is a lack of talent now is because back in the 90s everyone was hungry! When you have the a hunger in you the things you create has that Rawness to it. Right now everything is too easy the rawness and the rough edge that music had back in the day and movies are gone. It too Clean Example in the original NWA record U could tell that the work wasn't clean it It didn't have that digital feeling to it like the music wasn't perfect! That what I like
Was just listening to "Natural Born Killaz" this morning and the first few lines from his first verse pops into my head. I love him and his music. Seen some but not all his movies.
James Adam i don't give fuck what you think keep your opinion 2 yourself fucking hater and yeah I'm crazy as fuck , what bitch ? shut the fuck up loser
James Adam shit boy you don't get it . you don't have a own opinion . fuck a top 10 , fuck the people that make top 10s , fuck people that only look at likes and numbers , fuck people how dont think 4 there self . i like ice cube i dont give what you like . get a life loser dude fuck you
I love seeing NWA together. Nobody was too big to be there. Brothers showing love to one another. Even thanked Mack-10. Should have mentioned Kam though.
@@NevaEye First off, Cube getting socked by Solo was his own doing by trying to be tough. He thought that he could flex on certain guys on the strength of being down with real Gs like WC(Neighborhood 111 Crips) and Mack-10 (Queen Street Bloods) protecting him when he formed Westside Connection. Second, Kam was the brain behind the whole concept for "Death Certificate"- Cube getting rid of the Jheri Curl, NOI influence, super Pro-Black content, etc. Third, Cube has a history of shady dealings with people in the rap game- Cypress Hill, Da Lench Mob, Kam & Solo, Mack-10, etc. If you followed his career close enough, then you know
@Elijah Straight so if somebody knocked you tf out behind that Ralph's in Ladera and robbed you of your signature chain, you gonna shout them out at your ceremony? And I don't need to follow his career or get my info from a Beef DVD. . I grew up around these guys, a few you mentioned I know personally.. and I do know when you cross Cube, he will blackball you and act like you never existed.
Congrats sir! Been in love with you since a bitch is a bitch. I have watched you grow into the amazing man you are today! I have seen you with NWA every time you came to the Chi. I also took my then 15 yr old son to his firsr concert to see you when you at the Fox in Atl with L.L., PE and DeLa back in 2015! I love you please don't ever change. Muah!
He gave thanks to Mack 10 that's what's sup..he said they as a group showed the world that Crips and Bloods could make music together and not funerals 💪😎💯 💙=00=❤️
Okay, I see her, I guess I rushed through it too fast trying to fast forward and missed it. I just watched it again no fast forwarding and I saw him give her LOVE!!! Tell him, getting that star was what is up. What a awesome event and acceptance speech he gave.
