Ice Fishing Montana January 2024 has been really good. The weather has been unseasonably warm but ice conditions have been very good. Most places in the Flathead Valley have had plenty of good, hard, and clear ice. Perch fishing has been amazing, kokanee salmon have been on fire, lakers have been very willing to eat and pike have been on the move and totally catchable jigging or with tip-up type setups.
