Great underwater footage. A bit of unasked for advice if you'll allow me to make a suggestion: aggressive jigging will bring them in to investigate but will turn them off once they get close. Switch over to a very light subtle jig when they approach, I think you'll find they take the bait more often that way. Keep the great content coming.

What do you with other half of the bait fish? You just use the head behind the gills. Does the rest of the minnow have no interest for game fish?

Just toss it out. The head is all we use, the spoon is suppose to be the rest of the minnow. When bite is hot though, they don't care you can use the back half.
