Ice fishing underwater camera is a great way to get more intel when you're ice fishing. They work great in shallow water fishing for species that are oriented on the bottom. I typically ice fish with an underwater camera for perch, pike, bass, and whitefish. I feel it really helps you to learn new techniques to get stubborn fish to eat. You can really see how fish respond to what your jig is doing. You can see subtle attitude changes that you'd never see unless you were using an underwater camera. You'll also see fish on the bottom you'd be hard-pressed to see on normal electronics. Fishing in the mud is possible with a camera. One of my favorite ways to get tough fish to eat.
Ice Fishing Underwater Camera definitely has a learning curve. here are a few tips when ice fishing with an underwater camera...
1-Use a 10'' hole. It makes it way easier to find your jig on the screen
2-Lower your camera until you can see the bottom, then drop your jig. Adjust your camera from there if needed
3-Give yourself a few days to learn how to use the camera. It may take a bit to figure out how you like to use it.
