You should see the live version of “Stabbing in the dark” ... both guitarist & bassist also do vocals ! 🔥 & it’s from a Live DVD so it’s in amazing quality!
If you are interested in the mini movie, you started with the correct song. The music video order is 1) American Nightmare 2) Thank God It’s Friday (Friday the 13th) 3) A Grave Mistake (The Crow) 4) Stabbing in the Dark (Halloween) 5) IT Is the End (IT) Then check Merry Axe-mas (Silent Night Deadly Night) it’s brutal
The most impressive thing is that 3 guys sing in this Band and they can reproduce like... 90% of their vocal layering live. For me it is a huge turnoff if a Band uses like all the recorded tracks in the background
I can recommend nearly every song from their latest album The Silver Scream The Story would be continued by listening to: Thank God, It's Friday (A Grave Mistake) may not fit to your channel Stabbing in the Dark IT is the End Further songs from this album, you could check out: Merry Axe-Mas Enjoy your Slay
So Lorna Shore just dropped a new track with their new vocalist... to the hellfire is the name of their new song. Check it out and react if you can... before you do, their new vocalist is named Will and he has some of the sickest highs I have heard ever. Just check it out
Holy shit !....just listened to LORNA SHORE - To the Hellfire....New Vocalist is a fucking sick bastard ! The outro is insane.... i think mark should talk about this song :o
I love how excited you get for the breakdowns, shit is contagious and had me smiling the whole time. And your breakdowns have helped me a lot in my pursuit to become a vocalist, keep up the great work!
I LOVE the Silver Scream album! And the videos are incredible! I love that they tell an extra story fitting to the stories in the songs (which of course are based on horror movies). My favourite is "Communion Of The Cursed"
INK are my second favorite band of all time so I must recommend you break down Merry Axe-mas and IT is the End because I think those showcase Spencer’s vocals very nicely
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD......"LORNA SHORE - TO THE HELLFIRE" i can NOT wait for you to do it....its the greatest thing to happen to metal in a long long time
I'm so happy you listened to Ice Nine Kills. I wish I watched this when it first came out. But I always watch your videos on a binge so I leave for months at a time to watch them all lol
This is a really great band! Ironically, the first song I heard of theirs was "A Grave Mistake" (Based off the movie The Crow) and it only had clean vocals in it so it was a surprise when I happened to go back to the band and hear other songs. lol Also, I love it when they do a low and high scream at the same time. Makes an other worldly sound! They are really the only ones that I know that do it. I think they made it a requirement to do it in about every song. Including their metal cover of Maroon 5's Animals. lol
Ice Nine Kills is one of those bands that when you listen to them you get hooked to every song they've made. In my opinion, there's not a single song on the last 4 albums that I would skip. Almost everyone I've seen who reacts to them just loves them.
Im pretty sure she did that thing with the toaster so it will wake her up and escape from the nightmare (freddy) because in the video you could see earlier that she fell of a chair accidentally and she woke up and escaped from him.
Spencer is one of those metalcore vocalists that could easily do deathcore You should check out Merry Axe-mas, he goes his lowest there. Also, Spencer sometimes uses fry but he uses mainly false chord for both his highs and lows. I know because I can mimic that sound almost just like him with false chord. Also you can tell for sure at his live shows. Speaking of, they hold up live. They not only sound good, but they're just plain entertaining to watch. They're what happens when you give a theatre troupe some instruments.
Been doing vocals myself over 10 years and I can say that theres no way I could ever hit some of Spencer's highs without frys. Granted I have a pretty low voice even just in talking range but if Spencer is hitting those highs in false cord he'd have to have a much higher natural range than I do, but considering I can head voice songs this wild life has made makes it hard to believe he isnt using frys.he could be using false cord but its debatable nonetheless
@@Unknownusername1004 Now I've certainly not been doing vocals for as long as you have (just shy of 3 years), I can say with certainty that I am not going fry when I do those highs. So my guess is that your voice is lower then mine(baritenor I think is what it's called), and our vocal resonance is probably different. My "mid" resonance is like a Northlane/Currents sound while yours may be different.
@@Pepper_Jvck my mid range currently is around this is exile era whitechapel lows. And yeah you were right about my vocal range I'm a baritenor. I wish I could find a band that'd allow me to use my gutturals but there aren't many death metal or deathcore bands near me that play in drop G
@@Unknownusername1004 Oh shit I was saying that I am a baritenor lol, guess our voices are a pretty similar range then(I also have a pretty wide clean range like you said in a previous comment) That's a badass mid right there. I tried doing that once but it becomes enough effort to just be a low for me lol
Really love this reaction. You get some reaction videos out there that are almost judgemental and afraid to enjoy the band. This was authentic, you enjoyed the music, but educated. Great work
One thing that should note is that is on this album and a bunch of their older songs their guitarist JD does some of the screams as well. He does more of the higher screams in this song. Ink has gone through several lineup changes since this album came out. Their bassist Justin left to play in Motionless in White, and JD left the band to focus on production work. JD most notably worked on one of the more recent motionless in white albums. As a result live, JD’s vocals are now done by their rhythm guitarist Ricky. Ricky helped out on the writing and recording of some tracks on this album, and then officially joined the band during the touring cycle
THIS!^^^^^^ and other songs too like "Communion Of The Cursed", "Me, Myself, and Hyde", and my personal favorite "Let's Bury The Hatchet.... In Your Head"
They take inspiration from horror movies, iconic books, and other things like that. Not just movies c: One of my favorite bands, glad that you covered them.
NEW Lorna Shore track (To The Hellfire) with new Vocalist. He sure is a beast! Definitly worth a Reaction/Analysis!!! You want to check this one out \m/
Wilderun! Two albums they released were the best of the year for many metal review sites for 2015 and 2019. Surprising lack of awareness in the general community despite that.
@@KardavoxAcademy I’m personally bias about it, if they only do one I’m like nah but if I see they are working on the series I’m all in watching them 🤪
@@KardavoxAcademy ink is the band that really formed my current taste in deathcore/metal. My favorite by them is communion of the cursed. You should check it out even if not for the channel :)
