Ice Out Lake Trout on Great Slave Lake | Frontier Fishing Lodge, Northwest Territories 

First day of open water fishing on the East Arm of Great Slave Lake in 2017.
Two guides take a break from opening up the lodge to search out a few lunch fish.
After breaking through ice at the dock and working their way out into the main lake, they come upon a shallow reef that turns out to be loaded with decent sized trout.
Things get serious when one of the guides notices a trophy fish circling below the boat.
Game on.
