A hauntingly beautiful piece that captures the essence of winter. The composer was inspired to write this piece by his his stay in an ice hotel, a temporary hotel set up in the winter made of nothing but snow and ice.....

i think the beginning is actually supposed to be a lot slower, at least thats how my orchestra is playing it

Whoever's playing this is playing this a bit faster than it's supposed to be played, it kinda bothers me because it's supposed to be a slow piece aside from that part about half way of course

I think it's just fine, and either way, it's the "example" music for JWPepper, so I believe it's generally accepted.

I love this song sm. We're playing it in our orchestra right now. It probably won't sound nearly as good though. ;-;; Also, people keep saying they're playing this at their high schools, but I'm in middle school (chamber btw)?? Yeah, we won't sound nearly as good as we should. ;^;

Actually, in our entire city and districts, we are the best school because of my teacher. Literally, the highest level orchestras in high school play are what the second level in middle school play!
