Wow, this took a while to finish. Credits are where credit is due. I hope you enjoy the song. Download "Ice Sculptures" here - bit.ly/Hdf701 If anyone wants the instrumental, PM me. Thank you for your support.
this song is truly beautiful... i cry when i hear this song, that is how beautiful it is... and i almost never cry... i'm crying right now while listening to it
Yes and no, I only drew the sketch-like art for it! BaggageLizard requested me to draw Oliver and a love interest, but never specified an existing VOCALOID for me to draw, so I just went with what felt right to me. The bird on the shoulder is actually a representation of James, Oliver's official pet. I thought it'd be a nice cameo and a way to indicate that time has passed and spring is nearing, since birds are moving back into the country. If you look close you can see the sculptures melting...
Yes, yes, Luka is the first bilingual vocaloid, speaking japanese and english. However, her voice provider's first language is japanese. Thus Luka has an accent when she sings in english that sometimes make her hard to understand and her voicebank has a lot of problems. She's still number one in english in japanese vocaloids. Oliver, like Big Al, Sweet Ann, Prima, Tonio, etc is an english vocaloid. His english sounds a lot clearer and has less defaults than Luka's.
Somber particles of tessalated ice Drift from an opaque sky my breath escapes... ... I can see it leaving as it dissipates with each solemn sigh Whisper to me on this snow-covered field That well always be together The ice around us might dissolve.. ..but OUR LOVE will surely transcend ..or so we think Two ice sculptures standing in the snow Bound together by the ones you know They seem to love each other don't they? Two ice sculptures Time is ticking fast... look over there by the rising grass All things must come to an end AN END The changes of pressure make the world around us freeze but I still want to be with you though were just children I want you to see what I see in you as were wandering I ask a simple phrase "Will you be there for me?" immature nod unfounded romance as we traverse this vain path "I want to cry" Two ice sculptures standing in the snow bound together by the ones you know They seem to love each other don't they? Two ice sculptures Time is ticking fast... Look over there by the rising grass All things must come to an end AN END Two ice sculpture standing in the snow bound together by the ones you know They seem to love each other Don't they Two ice sculptures Time is ticking fast... Look over there by the rising grass All thing must come to an end AN END
I LOVE THIS SONG!!! Sure its REALLY sad if you read the words, but thats what makes it sooo good! Plus i like how the song sounds... and the cool sounds of the wind and the snow making it even better...plus i really look like the girl in real life! The fluff man lol
This reply is way overdue, but yes. The ice sculpture with the hat is based off of Oliver. uvu I didn't use his canon appearance for the art, though - I like making alternate costumes for VOCALOIDs for song art.
This was the first song I showed my now ex. As we're wandering, I ask a simple phrase. "Will you be there for me?" Immature nod Unfounded romance As we traverse this vain path "I want to cry." seems to have all new meaning
Just look into things a little before correcting someone or you look a little silly ^^; .The vocaloid wiki is pretty accurate with the release dates and creation processes of each of them and Oliver's demos were all English. The reason he's so good at Japanese and for that matter so are the Spanish ones is that the Japanese sound system is much more simple so our voice banks cover them much easier than they cover ours ^^ because of this a lot of people use Oliver for Japanese songs.
Point no3; Okay your only reliable on a friend to tell you everything? Not safe at all! Take it from who has spent 2 years debunking Vocaloid myths, the number of anime fans who barely know what anime is is crazy, so your friend could indeed be wrong. Became a member of a Vocaloid community like vocaloidism, Vocaloid Otaku or even the Vocaloid wikia (it counts!), you learn more this way, people set you right a lot faster. Vocaloids nerds tend to be more reliable then general anime nerds.
+stephanie sagastizabal It's a singing synthesizer (singing simulation in a easier way.) You can buy a Vocaloid voice, input syllabes and letters and the program sings. It's much harder than it sounds actually, there's many options and settings to make the words sound as you want them to be. But for beginners it's recommended to use UTAU first, it's a free program that works almost like Vocaloid. In fact some current Vocaloids were once UTAUloids, like GUMI Megpoid. So the programs both are equally amazing and one costs 400 dollars and the other nothing.
You do realise that you just told the creator of a song what his song expresses? Also Vocaloid is a mostly Japanese based thing but they actually produce them for other countries the wiki tells you how he was made from an English boy. He's like Clara who was made as the first female Spanish Vocaloid. If you went on the Wikia for this you'd see.
