I always love Ice T interviews. He’s one of those rare breeds who’s articulate in many ways. Dude is both street articulate and even though he ain’t an academic he still has learnt enough to be book articulate. One of those rare breeds who can talk at Harvard and Harlem and sound as wise as the wisest in both settings. True OG. Can move with the kings and the kingpins the same.

This is IMO one of the biggest problem in the black community, its the lack of teaching financial independence. Real estate and the US Stock market are the two biggest wealth creators and thats why there is huge income and wealth inequality …. There needs to be a big push towards creating black owned business with ownership of the real estate and teaching to invest profits into the stock market and Crypto market. Ice-T is the man. As a fellow person from Los Angeles, it's great to hear the history of gangs. I wish he in this interview he touched more on the movement from early hip hop and electro to what he became. The 1981-1986 period and what really got him to into hip hop and what helped him evolve out of the earlier styles musically. Obviously the trend went that way like with Dre and world class wreckin cru to NWA but I'm curious to hear more about his work during the time of Killers. And maybe his thoughts about Tibetan jam/reckless and how that came about. How he feels about being a part of one of the best electro cuts of all time. I wonder if he fully knows the influence of that track on electronic community. I would love to know what Ice-T thought of the breakin days, graffiti and did he feel pressure to be from the east or west coast musically as he wss coming up.

Yo Ice, I used to work at rapidstan in Grand rapids, Michigan. Shout out to you for representing your dad and the true blue collar folks that put in real square business work and jobs that alot of players still have today including me.

I always told people that LL Cool J was the rapper that wanted me to start rapping. But Ice-T was the rapper that had alot of influence on me because I loved his hustle and the knowledge he brought to the table about the game period. Great Interview Champ! Salute.

Greatings from Protugal. Ice T's BodyCount is one of the most influencial bands of my young times and I never knew that he's one of the GOAT of the gangsta rap. What a fantastic interview. You got one more subscriber.

Homes I was blasting Ice-T when I was in elementary school. My older cousin snuck me into see Ricochet at the Norwalk Super Saver. Then I had an older homie cop the Home Invasion tape for me cuz of the parental advisory sticker. Trespass, Surviving the Game.. I saw all those mfs when they came out. Ice-T was my hero, but he sure exposed me to a lot of crazy shit I was too young to be knowing about!! Lol!

ICE T is such a special cat & such unique persona that when you have a certain part in a movie, you know when there's a part that only Ice T could play
