Welcome to Day 2 of our Iceland adventure! I'm thrilled to share this journey with you all. Despite a slight hangover from the excitement, I couldn't wait to document and share these experiences. This day was all about picking up the Cuares squad from the airport and diving straight into our next adventure from the cozy Blue Vikings Hotel.
Even with delayed flights, our spirits were high and ready to explore the west of Iceland. The landscape is beyond anything I've ever seen-truly awe-inspiring! The west of Iceland is also known as Snaefellsnes Peninsula, often called "Little Iceland" because of the wide variety of landscape scenery found there. It has waterfalls, a volcano, a glacier, mountains, lava fields, black sand beaches, cliff lines, Saga sites and fishing villages - everything the country has to offer packed into a small geographical area. 🌋⛰️🗻
