Thanks so much for watching our Iceland Travel Guide! If you are looking for a road trip guide to Scotland - check out my latest vlog from when we were just there 1.5 months before Iceland: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GHHxLH-7qd0.html
Hello, I want to say thank you very much for this very informative video.. we went to Iceland and we used this helpful video to guide us.. It was an identical trip from yours😍😍..
Wow everything is so breathtaking! Thanks so much for sharing this really helpful itinerary. Didn't think there's a crater out there that could beat Crater Lake in Oregon, US but Kerid Crater looks amazing!
I wish i would have done more research before we left. We left for Iceland two days after your video dropped. Would have loved to watch this before we left. We did a very similar route, except we drove the entire south coast day 1 and stopped at a few waterfalls and sites along the way. Then we returned west the remainder of our week and ended back in Reykjavik. We used Hidden Iceland (Alberto) as our tour guide and he was amazing. Great Mercedes van with Wifi. Another reason to use a tour company is to learn the significance of the sites you are seeing along the way. Self-guided is great too. Glacier lagoon is amazing. One recommendation is to hike the glacier. We hiked that largest glacier. It was awesome. So much more to see east of Vik. Overall great video.
@@JeanieMarie Your video will help many that are planning on a trip to Iceland. AND the Sky Lagoon is by far the best. Sitting at the edge of the infinity pool looking at the ocean and enjoying a beverage is amazing. Great job and it looks like you both enjoyed your time there.
Thank you so much for informative travel trip to Iceland!!! One question is that how do navigate through the cities? Do you Google map to drive from place to place? Is there internet signal while you are on the road? Thank you so much!!!
Great Video! Do you have a document with your itinerary and list of the hotels you booked? I tried to look them up during the video but missed some. Alos, any idea as to the cost of your trip including rental car, fuel, hotels, food. I know airfare can vary so much depending on where you are flying in from, so just interested in the costs once you arrived in Iceland. Thanks!
I like your vlog style! Just a few Iceland tips - Vik is pronounced like "Veek"; Gulfoss is not even the most powerful waterfall in Iceland, that goes to Dettifoss; and Vatnajokull is the largest glacier in Europe but not even top 10 in the world. I hope you can go back and explore more of Iceland, some of the most epic spots you drove by include Glymur, Kvernufoss, and Múlagljúfur :)
I had to postpone my Iceland trip this year, but I'm planning for 2024, does anyone recommend a time of year to visit outside of the busy summer season?

how did you guys get the internet, i am travelling from USA, do you guys took a sim card over there at the airport or did the international roaming. Also Car rental was at the keflavik international airport or did you guys took a bus to Reykjavik city to pick up the car rental.
I have a few questions. How did you know how to get to each spot? Do they give you maps of the country at the rental car place? Also, did you book your hotels in advance and how did you know what cities to book? In other words did you just keep driving until you were tired and then booked a room? I am trying to research Iceland but don’t know how to plan an itinerary.
Great question! We used Google maps on our phone for directions. We have Verizon and had service the entire time so it was easy to get around with Google Maps. We pre-planned this trip mapping it out with Google Maps about 6 months prior to booking and booked all our hotels well in advance. I do not recommend waiting to book your hotels as there aren't many to choose from once you get outside of Reykjavik. And the ones that are available fill up really fast. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing this video! I had the chance to visit Reykjavik for a third time recently and have a bit of a love affair with the country. What an amazing place!
@@JeanieMarie ❤️ what month did you guys make the trip?! I wanted to go in March to see the Northern Lights but now your video makes me want to Iceland when it's not all covered in snow 🤣
hi thanks for the video it was so much help in organizing our trip for September. will you please let me know from where you rented the car that is name of car rental thks
I went there last Christmas all those waterfalls was frozen but still beautiful. Planning to go back in summer to explore more of waterfalls. I'm waterfalls enthusiasm too mostly my main purpose traveling is to hunt waterfalls. Your video is awesome! Subscribe done! Thanks
Thanks so much for watching! Glad you found it helpful. I honestly don't remember how much we spent on fuel. We did this trip 7 months ago. I don't remember the expenses.
@@JeanieMarie Sorry, I'm still watching the video, I was too quick to comment, I'm afraid to go there in the summer and it rains because I'm very intolerant of the cold 🤣🤣, I'll finish watching the video, thank you so much 🙏
Wonderful video, I am planned for exactly 6 days trip and could follow this … One point, how could this plan look with kids 7yr, 10yr and kids allowed in lagoons?
@@JeanieMarie Yes, it’s worth checking it out! I may not go there in 2023 because I’m going to Brazil or the Maldives for 2 weeks and then Cuba but I will do more research about it and start planning ahead soon and see the majestic landscape
Your video is Fantastic! Is there anyway you can please send me the links to your itinerary for the hotels where you stayed . They look amazing. We are going to do your trip in August!!! Thank you
We considered going whale watching tour, but we have done it so many place around the world that we decided we would skip Iceland since we've done it so much.
You're kidding right? It would be an embarrassment to the country if I tried pronouncing those names. You can't read? when I post the name over the video? 🤓
