China and any one knows that. We are part of NATO. US Navy has facilities here. And we are close to our noridc brothers in the other nordic countries. There's no threat at the moment anyway.
I’m going to go to Iceland in June 2023 for school! I am very excited for it. Iceland sounds like such an amazing place away from war, air pollution, religious conflict and much more!
I hate it when people say "really cold" or "really hot" without saying the actual temperature. Both those terms are relative and don't mean anything alone. I know people who think 40 degree Fahrenheit is really cold.
Completely random fact: Since the moment Pluto was discovered and until the moment when it lost its status of a planet, this celestial body has not completed a single full revolution around the Sun. -SciFacts
DONT BUY WATER IN ICELAND from a native Icelander: the tap water in Iceland is the cleanest water in the world so you don’t need to spend money on water that comes in a plastic bottle that pollutes the environment. Just bring a reusable water bottle and fill it up in the sink🥰
I was 15 yrs/old when I found out that Iceland is the most peaceful country in the world, and that's when I started to dream of living there. 10 years after leaving this comment here, I will upload a vlog of me enjoying my life to that country.
Someone commented on one of my videos this week that Iceland is 20% cheaper now (!!) since tourism plummeted... pros and cons or traveling there during these times?
Trust me, there is plenty of corruption here in Iceland. Moreover, there has been an increase of violent crimes, at least in Reykjavík. Last year, there multiple stabbings occurring almost on a weekly basis during the summer. That said, overall Iceland is a safe country. Just be cautious when you are downtown on the weekend evenings.
Love your vid. Hope you had a great time in our country. It's slow now due to covid. But please. don't buy air in a can :P. Also shop at Bónus (the Icelandic low cost super market with the pink piggie bank logo). It could be less expensive. but yes, Iceland is crazy expensive, even for me :O
Nas: Iceland in 3 minutes video: 4:33 me: EMERGENCY MEETING! *There is 1 fake minute among us* Skillshare: Allow me introduce myself *Skillshare was The Fake minute*
Iceland used to have McDonald's. It closed following the recession, reportedly the business model wasn't working. It's expensive to run a McDonald's restaurant and McDonald's wasn't THAT popular. I never had to wait in line in McDonald's in Iceland except maybe twice. I have had to do it every time I go to KFC.
McDonald's is fucking disgusting why are people so obsessed with it??? Only normal food there is milkshake and French fries lol and they're not that special
No mosquitoes: packing bags, ready to move to Alaska but better. $12 Strawberries: unpacking bags, apologizing to the majestic state bird: the mosquito.
I want to live in Iceland , like right now. Skill share sounds like a dope idea. Doesn't hurt to know new stuff as long as it's not crack, heroin or crystal meth.
Nas : This is why Iceland is one of the most expensive countries in the world for tourists. Wait last vid u said that tokyo is the one of the most expensive countries I mean in japan has most expensive city so its still count as countries
He said Tokyo and Iceland both are one of the most expensive countries He didn't say Tokyo and Iceland are Iceland are the most expensive countries There's a difference ! And also tokyo is a city not a country
