We've had some problems with anarchists and environmental groups in the past, but it was never this serious. Allegedly those arrested have neo-nazi-sympathies how ever, at this early stage it's best to wait and see when all the details are unveiled. I shall probably make a video about this in due time, once more information has been made public.

But you do have some impressive volcanoes that's for sure. I'd go in the summer. I've seen many pictures, looks absolutely lovely. I’ve never understood why criminals cover their face after being arrested. In some places the police force it on them, but it’s not as if they are in black hoods. They just as easily could look up. The dissonance here is that they were willing to kill police officers but all of a sudden they have shame enough to cover their face- pathetic.
Its surely not the shame and guilt of planning a lethal terrorist attack on police(allegedly).it's the shame and shock of being caught and put on public display, eventually. ICELAND is a very small country by population. Its very difficult to remain anonymous for long. What will mom and dad say???

Reykjavik's population is barely 123k. You can be sure that these lads would be readily known and recognised in their community. The shame that will accompany them is very palpable if indeed they've experienced an epiphany on the very serious consequences to the allegations brought against them. The early twenty-years is a prime age for recruitment into radicalised groups who play on the naïveté and boredom of youth's trying to define who they are as young adults.

It's so normal to hear about stuff like this in America that we literally can't go 12 hours without hearing about it. But for a place like Iceland to deal with this, that's breaking news worldwide. Centuries went by with Iceland in existence, and this is a first for Iceland. There's no reason for anyone to want to do that to Iceland. The city I'm from has more people than all of Iceland, so there couldn't be anything going on there, and that's the place they tried doing that to. Let us have at least ONE place on earth that's safe.
Thats just because you are scared, I see bad stuff on the news all the time too but when I go outside I never see anything. I live in Detroit, I hear all the time how people are terrified of this place and bever want to come here but it really one of the most laid back major cities and the races get along despite us not supposed to be.

No it is not the first time that ''terror arrests'' have been made in Iceland. How ever this is the first time were such a case was foiled due to a police investigation. The other comparable case occurred in the early 1970s and it was foiled because someone stumbled by accident upon a pile of stolen dynamite, which the perpetrators had stolen because they were apparently inspired by the German R.A.F. and other such groups. Wether or not they would have actually carried out a terror plot remains a subject of debate though.

Iceland is such a beautiful clean safe peaceful country and I am going to immigrate and live in Iceland. It is good that the police were able to stop and prevent a terrorist attack from happening and it is good that the police have arrested the people responsible.
