Update 2 months after my first comment saying that this looks fun and I consider doing it: Here I am, still alive after the day doing this exact rafting trip today! Thank you so much for your video, would have never done it without! It was sooo much fun, I also have a lot of beautiful GoPro footage (it was sooo sunny today! …and I fell in twice; even though the GoPro battery died before the second time). The group was great and our guide was also absolutely awesome! Swallowed a bit more east glacial river water than I would have preferred but whatever 😅 Oh and I also went with cozy campers :) this video had quite a huge influence on my Iceland trip actually 😎
That looked like the most fun day out ever! Seemed like a brilliant company and your guide was really cool also. Doing that in a wetsuit sounds horrible but those dry suits were great! Awesome video! - Thomas

Omg I LOVED the video!! I'm from Iceland and I went there rafting May 31st and it was the best thing I've ever done and watching this video makes me so happy and I want to go again and again. And the guides are legends I recognize them all!
This was awesome! There are a TON of whitewater rafting locations here in Alaska, but it's something we've never done. Mostly because of fear, so your video really spoke to me! Maybe we'll give it a shot.
Yeah! Having a good guide is KEY! Seriously, our guide made that trip. Not only was he funny, but was SUPER knowledgeable about the river. He made it safe and fun at the same time. /J
JOSH if you really want MORE there's a 7 metre waterfall you can raft down in Rotorua New Zealand, I was petrified but it was awesome! Water is 22degree celcius too so lovely and warm!

Just earlier i registered myself for a rafting race in my town with my colleagues. Have never done it before and you could imagine me coming home and finding you both rafting as well :D...Apart from the coincidence, this video was phenomenal :)
Awesome! Another thing from my bucket list! The sound from the gopro is pretty good, weren|t you filming with the water tight case? Hope you still have some iceland vids coming, love them!
Thanks RaubElch! Yes, it's a GoPro. But it's the new one that is already waterproof. Plus it has 3 microphones and will automatically switch between them for the best sound. Still not great, but hey, we're covered in glacial water! /J
Wow. I didn't know I wanted to do this but now I do! Is that puffy a down jacket or not? Just wondering because if those get wet just a little bit, I've read that's not fun?
That looks like a lot of fun but a bit scary as well! I've tried rafting twice - in the Great Smoky Mountains in the US and in Finnish Lapland. Super fun! Would love to try it one time in Iceland as well. Lotta/Lanttimatkat
hahahaha - all I could think of was giving Amanda a dutch oven.. not sure how I could leave her a smelly surprise in the suit, but I'd figure it out (why do I act like I'm 8 year olds?) That jump at the end looked awesome!
