Ahh yes 'The Waltons' It was the every Sunday night family watch when I was a nipper. The picture on the box looks like an angry cyclops. Another one for the £1 food list. Not bad for the price and combined with any other of the £1 meals it could be quite a feed for one or two. Or three £1'ers for 3 courses. Funny you posting this one today, as I had the Woolies bakery ready to eat 2 ham and cheese croissants for $3 on my shopping list. Unfortunately at that price they're an early sellout and I missed out. But all wasn't lost as the bakery lady let me have 2 frozen ones to cook at home. Same price though. She said that it was her second run on them that day. Very popular. If they cook well in the airfryer, I'll buy them again frozen. Goodnight John boy. 🤤👍😀
Angry cyclops! A bit cheeky of that woman to not knock a few pence off as you had to use your own energy, still, as you say, might be a good freezer snack :)
Well they certainly look a lot better value for money than the dog's dinner bacon/sausage baps you had yesterday I will pick a pack up next time I'm in Iceland on old folks 10% off day. I'm thinking though you could make your own with a packet of that ready rolled puff pastry £1.20 ish some bacon a bit of cheese or whatever you fancy and if they only take 12 minutes in the air fryer your definitely onto a winner
Great review papparoni i think i only saw the hame and cheese ones i will give them ago once i find them lol who was trying to get though your gate it made me 😂
I've got the cheese and bacon ones in the freezer to give a go at some point. Think I may top up the cheese before I air fry them 2.5% isn't enough for me.
They actually looked much better than i thought that they would Papp... I've seen something very similar being reviewed by someone else a few months ago now... And they weren't all that impressed with that particular variety of Turnover... I guess if you're wanting to make these into a meal... You could always add a tin of Baked Beans to bulk it out for very little extra cost... Or even try a tin of the Asda Spaghetti Bolognese in a Rich Tomato Sauce 395g for just £0.90... By the way Papp... Talking of Asda... Just a quick heads-up for you pal... On those... Exceptional by Asda 6 Triple Chilli Pork Sausages 400g... That you tried on here a few weeks ago... They're now on offer at the moment my friend... So instead of the regular price of £3.25... They've now been reduced to just £2.50 per pack my friend... So if you have room in your freezer... You could always stock up on a few packs and save yourself some money pal. I'll be saving myself some money on my next Asda online shopping order too Papp... As i received an email from Asda this lunchtime... And because they couldn't deliver four of my items on my shopping order yesterday... Simply due to them being out of stock... They sent me a £5.00 e-voucher as an apology... So whenever i make my next Asda online shopping order of £40.00 or more... (Which i always do)... Up to the e-vouchers expiry date of 4th November 2024... I can simply add the code to my Asda online shopping order... And i will be credited with the free £5.00 e-voucher... At the Asda online shopping order checkout page... Well my friend!... Who wouldn't want a free £5.00 e-voucher to spend on their future online shopping order!?... 😂 👍 Many thanks for the review Papp... It's very much appreciated my friend... All the very best... Cheers mate. 🍺
Thanks for letting me know about the sausage offer Rick, I certainly will get a few packs in and frozen. As for your voucher, not to be sniffed at. One time I found some rubber tubing in a Morrisons ready meal and they gave me a voucher too :)
@@Papparoni Whoa!... 😲I should bloody well hope so too Papp!... Rubber could've been a real problem if it had been stuck in your digestive system... That's actually quite shocking mate... I hope it was a rather large voucher they gave you my friend... 👍 Enjoy your Sausages my friend... Cheers Papp. 🍺
@@Papparoni Also Papp... I've just noticed that there's quite a few offers on the delicious... Nissin Cup Noodles at Asda too Papp... Including the Soba Noodles variety as well... I don't need any extra ones myself at the moment... As I've still got about five or six of them left in the kitchen cupboard pal... But if you are running short... You can grab a few pots for yourself Papp... 👍 Cheers mate. 🍺
Had these a couple of days ago and mine turned out a bit of a mushy mess in the middle. Very oily, not totally unpleasant but not something I would be reaching for again. I think you must have nuked them.
Hello,do you mind me asking what your RU-vid earnings are roughly? I am considering starting a channel and want to see if it's worth it, i do security but am really fed up of it , and no other industry will hire me Thanks
@@Papparoni thanks for the reply, I notice you don't collaborate with other UK/ American food reviewers, this would be an easy way for you to boost views, It seems over exaggeration and clickbait are the only way to get views
You're braver than me I wouldn't try them if they were free, I'm not a fan of pizza even if it's good pizza and nicely cooked, these pockets look like they would be easily overcooked and ruined. disgusting
