No offense intended, but this is very far from being the birthing of a new continent. It's lava filling a valley and It might possibly add to Iceland's size if it reaches the coast. The birthing of a continent? No. It's nothing of the sort. 😐

Man has this volcano given us some spectacle, being the first one to be so accessible to the public with today's video technology and drones. This is what we can achieve as a species. Watch a volcano as if we're right on top. And feel like a bird for a moment.

The first time, at this stage of the volcano I’ve seen the crater from the top and how close it gets to bubbling over. The majestic music. Oh my gosh! I actually got goosebumps!
