Hi, thank you very much for your video. That is what I have been waiting for your videos about Icelandic grammar, vocabulary and reading. You know that it is a very complicated Icelandic grammar because there are a lot of grammar rules, syntax, etc. I hope you will make the videos about Icelandic grammar. I am happy that you made the first video about Icelandic alphabet. That is the first step of Icelandic grammar. And then, next one, is Icelandic greetings, numbers, months of the year, days of the week, the vocabulary (animals, food and drinks, clothes, transportation, parts of the body, things at home, nature (sun, park, river, mountain etc.)) and so on. And also the grammar (Icelandic genders, singular and plural, verbs (present tenses, past tense, future tense), adjectives, adverbs, and so on. There are plenty of Icelandic grammar rules. I would like to learn it. Thank you again for your first video finally!

The content is very good, great work, it would be nice for the people of Iceland to make the language available to the West, Brazil, here we don't have access to the Icelandic language, there is no school to learn Icelandic, all the content found is in English and we only speak Portuguese , few people here know English, I only know it with the help of a translator.

Góða kvöldið! Ég hélt að y og ý væru "ufsilon i" og "ufsilon í". 🤔 Takk!

rétt - bókstafirnir heita það en eru bornir fram eins og i og í :)

Very respectfully that is not the Icelandic pronunciation of the alphabet. What you are doing is repeating the name of the letters again not their sounds...

[ö] and [ʏ] (or [œ] and [ø] for IPA) always get me

@@SpeakViking Ö and Y! i see sometimes people use different phonetic alphabets, like at some classes in Háskóli Íslands they will use [ö] and [ʏ] for Ö and Y, but at other international schools they use [œ] and [ø] for Ö and Y in their Icelandic classes
