The helm of Awe symbol is closely related to the Hindu symbol of Durga, the Ashtbhuj duja, which is currently used by the warrior sects of Sikhs, the Akali nihung. Google it.

Some of these are very complex and dark ; similar to some of the characters or symbols in the grimoires of France or England. Though with a Nordic appearance of course.

Was wondering if you carve rune staves into wood as a pendant, if you do this on a different wood does it change the magical properties of said stave same as making it a pendant does it change the magical properties

Not sure what the helm of awe and vegvisir have to do with Norse heathens. Both are 19th century Icelandic occult sigils, not pagan or Norse Viking related.

I was enjoying this video until the bit of Odin being "evil". It is such a dunce that you are speaking of the runes and their meanings then completely dismiss him as a god of evil. And nonchalantly stating that he was this prechristian era. In the sagas it is CLEAR who the "evil" is. And even so when Loki is in fact a little shit, he is the one who has given the Gods their greatest artifacts. Anyways, when through Odin's work of hanging on The Tree, he was the one who found and gave the runes to man. Maybe some respect due to the god of the runes. And of course her was a god of war, as was Freya. War was very prominent in those days. He took care of and promised a great hall to those warriors who fell in battle justly. To dismiss him as evil is such a folly. For Odin is much more than an evil bringer of war and death.
