After teaming up with D20 and falling to Venom Goblin, I was itching for a rematch! Decklist: marvelcdb.com/deck/view/72931... #marvelchampions #marvelchampionslcg
Almost had it! It was actually comforting to see that even you sometimes lose. :) I mean…to see WWF have unfortunate losses makes you more human. Great game man! And the game with D20 was so good! Very close one there too. I see what you mean about VG being harder in multi. I see that now!
I think it’s the most epic MC game I ever see. Iceman/agg vs Venom Goblin!!!! No way! At round 2, I said to myself: « Franklin is already done » But!!! You manage this game like no one can do better than this. I try to remember a base or agg retaliation card we can add now 😅 Maybe « Ice Slide » at the right time, I don’t know. So! Congratulations, I appreciate a lot you’re fluid structured gameplay, always impressive, Thanks!
Hahaha thank you JC! I think you’re right. I was thinking back about a missed opportunity to play Ice Slide because that extra attack would’ve changed a lot. I appreciate your comment man and glad you enjoyed this game :)
What a push at the end! I just played a fun one with Storm against Sabertooth where I had to push to win. Barely had enough to pull it out. Games like these are just another reason why champions is the best game!
I'm impressed you almost defeated Vgoblin with aggression. IMO his worst aspect against his worst matchup. Iceman in protection can deal so much more damage due to all the ready in the likes of what doesn't kill me, ever vigilant and indomitable. Plus you almost don't have to flip to alter ego, so you can keep ice slide virtually all the time on the table. Again kudos to you for nearly defeating him in aggression. Now I'm about to play against the trio (Mag VG and Ronan) with a leadership deck that's performing pretty well. Let's see if it's up to the task. I don't think its going to surpass protection though
Honestly i didn’t think Iceman could handle Ronan/Venom Goblin so i was really surprised when you shared your experience with him. I wanted to test it out and now i think i was definitely wrong. I forsure plan on trying him in protection next to see how he does! I think i should’ve kept him in ‘pool for this game because i ended up not really using aggression cards and just relying on the xmen basic package 😅
@@webwarriorfanatic I'm glad you decided to give him a shot against them. Your pool deck was pretty cool and made me want to try pool after leadership. Something similar happened to me with aggression... But I must confess I failed way harder than you with it, definitely not his best aspect🤣
@@nicolasarevalo6024 haha i mean i really relied on the basic cards i don’t know if i even played an aggression card 😅 but if it wasn’t for you i wouldn’t have even realized how much more potential Iceman has 😁 gotta love this community
Pretty similar to the Iceman deck I've been running, a mostly basic deck with Utopia and gray allies. I used protection with What Doesn't Kill Me and a few good allies from protection. Iceman's biggest problem is def his thwart!
The basic x-men package is so good with him! And yea he doesn’t have high threat numbers unfortunately. I like the readying from What Doesn’t Kill Me with him forsure!
