Their lives would be at risk (sometimes) if they see something suspicious even though there's absolute no evidence on if the streamer is planning something considered terrorism in the future. There would be a tiny chance the streamer who got swatted, might quit streaming for good mostly because of that reason, and don't want to experience it more. I think it can be funny if you, as a streamer, can handle with the police/SWAT that you're innocent.

I was a police officer for 5 years until my old military injures caught up with me. It's obvious that they would have to respond. It's more about knowing what swatting is. I'm tired of seeing officers get pissed at victims because they don't understand what's happening. Plus when you're dealing with things like this the more information the better. We didn't have more important things to do. It could save someone's life to at least have that he's been a victim of swatting in his file.
