I have KS5L 11T, Miner temp in webUI abnormal too, in Iceriver Monitor i have same temperatures, Temp2 60-66, and Maximum temp on chip is 83*C. I am glad to see any information about temps, because "abnormal" state is a little scared me. Also in Iceriver monitor on my 11T clocks on chips is 600 mhz.

Yeah, the intake temp looks wrong and thats why it reports abnormal in web gui, hopefully iceriver monitor gets update soon dev team works on OC for ks5l if they come up with new OC they will update monitopr tool per Tswift. I hope will see it in the next few weeks. my clocks 665 but i only getting average 11.5TH on the pool (k1pool)

Hey nice video. Do you recommend K1 pool for kHeavyHash? I mean have you tried their auto kHeavyhash pool switching feature? or just mining kaspa there

I tried auto switching but I’m not fan of it I manually switch in k1pool switching option using the pool stratum they provide for that option that super cool and don’t have to switch in the asic setting then and restart the asic. I use for Kaspa, did some Serra and doing some Bugna coin for fan. K1pool works best for me for my location but yours can be different so I recommend testing other pools to compare rewards and connection speed. Kaspa pool and HumPool work better for some miners but not for me.

miner temp abnormal in the web UI, we have that too. so we can ignore that completely?

The intake temps should be much lower but it shows only 2 degrees difference in my asic between intake and exhaust sensors. Someone contacted iceriver they said it’s firmware issue but it mining fine. I’m monitoring with monitoring tool on KS2 for now even though only 18 chips reported but gives me general idea until we have firmware fix and monitoring tool updated to show KS5L. Tswift said they working on OC firmware and once they developed that firmware they will fix monitoring tool I hope it will come out soon.

i just bought KS5L and minertemp show Abnormal too , it is bug ? i turn off my KS5L because i afraid its overheat .

It’s your investment I would contact iceriver if that normal and not going to damage the unit. What my understanding is the possible firmware bug that showing intake temps too high only 2 degree lower than exhaust temp. Hope that helps
