This is young Lisa more than 10 years ago. She was a good singer already but surely now she is much more refined

Well, there's more to it too. Rumor has it that she lost family prior to the performance. She keeps most about her family private though, so I never found confirmation of it anywhere. It's obvious she was singing her heart out to something though. It was as much a performance as it was crying out the emotions. Honestly, I find a performance like this more incredible than any perfect one out there, because you can neither replicate the emotion put into it, nor perform well with this much emotion without an insane degree of skill.

i remember this being dedicated to her ailing mother on her death bed during this live performance. vaya con dios, liSA no 'kā-san... she was crying during this performance, at the end of the song she was bawling.... indeed, the saddest moment in a GDM concert....

Ohh I remember this... the song on its own is devastating already, but iirc she had to perform this not long after her mother passed away. Gods know I wouldn't have been able to hold myself together that well.

I can't and I wont, sorry its too early to be cutting onions. SSS is the only tattoo I've considered getting, that's how much Angel beats resonated with me, and this song is one of the reasons why. It gave me the strength and motivation to move keep moving during shitty times.... really dark times... its okay if you're going through so such times, remember we're only human. Just do your best, I see your efforts!
