Osu!
very good, i want to learn martial arts, Kyokushin,i am 23, 90 kg,184 cm.Tomorrow will be my first lesson, i can wait.Andy Hug inspired me. this style i think suits me,is good for my conditions and is better than go only to a gym.I don`t want to cheat when i am training.thank you for your video
@muaybattletv OSU, thanks for your comment, we will improve to be better persons and to be better in Kyokushin by daily training in all senses. Best regards, OSU
OSU Kristian
OSU, Thanks for your comments, not everybody put the necesary enfasis and strenght. I will have in mind and push more the students and myself to do better and better. OSU
OSU, Many thanks for your insight. I really appreciate, I will hve this in mind. The belt level is not an excuse to not listen to inferior or higher belt levels. I have an open mind to try to learn from all. Thanks
OSU, Thank you a lot for your invitation. Now I am in Barcelona Spain, I have my own place so, you are aslo welcome if you some day find your self here. Thanks... OSU
OSU, thanks, yes I did some thaiboxing when I was in Thailand, also I did Taikiken in Japan with Kansho Royama. Now also I am practicing some Yoga and is really good training and as a complement to Karate. ShotoKan is the first "JAPANESE" Karate brought from OKINAWA. the name of Karate started with ShotoKan before that it was Okinawate. OSU...
OSU, Thanks for your comments. Cheat is not the way, you only lie to your self. So this is a good start from your side. i hope the best for you and if you have Andy Hug as you insiration.. is great. good luck, you will like it a lot. Thanks OSU
@Tovash Probably the only spot they could find or afford at the time. Besides, lot of instructors only do hard body training in the upper ranks, and this class has a lot of lower ranks in it. But the heavy bag/resistance bag work is pretty good (I have to try that sometime), along with the plyometric knuckle-ups, which would be really extreme for lower belts if they were on bare flooring. It's important to know your students not and overtrain them.
OSU
Is good to dream but to have a family is incredible and really nice and I would not change that. I was lucky, I had the opportunity but it was hard too, I lived in South Korea but I went to japan 3 times for training and the longest time was 1 month. Maybe some day, .. some day.. good luck and thanks for your post. OSU ;-)
thank you for your reply, i have a litte idea of what Kyokushin can be like, I was in a dojo for about 4 months..., although that is not long at all, to me it was hard but i really liked it
OSU, I would like to have a dojo like this one, I had the honor to teach and learn at Sensei Hong Park's Dojo in Korea. Now in the dojo I have in Spain, smaller, I willl keep the same idea of training. HARD TRAINING, Technique, endurance etc... OSU
OSU
En una palabra! With one word! OSU! The different scenes from the movie are taken from on unique training. This is our ichigeki training on Fridays. Other days are very hard to. 5 days per week and some do one or 2 clases por day. Muchas gracias por tu comentario. OSU kristian
OSU, No I do not own this dojo, this dojo belongs to my master Hong Park in South Korea. Now days I am in Barcelona, Spain where I have a small Dojo. search kankukan in google and you will find it. Thanks for your comments OSU
This is one of the official songs from Shokei Matsui organisation (IKO1). Also you can find in my other movie kyokushin music, summer camp in south korea. OSU
it's almost similar to our kyokushin training in holland, actually it is exactly the same, i wish they were open every day here, only 2 times a week...i want to go every day!!
OSU, Okinawa Karate is part also of Kyokushin Karate. Actually Shoto Kan is the first Karate in Tokyo (japan) iland. Shoto Kan means the House/shool of Mr Shoto who brought the Okinawa - te to Japan. In URA WAZA - the hidden tecniques is a lot of OKINAWA KARATE as goju ryu and other karate styles. Saludos desde España. OSU
OSU, Thank you very much, shotokan is the first Japanese Karate brought from Okinawa (from okinawa-te) to the japan island. all karate have it special essence but for me Kyokushin is very special. Kyokushin comes from shotokan and from goju-ryu or the okinawa karate style. Anyhow, I think you can find in your country. Did you try all organisations? Kyokushin-kan, shinkyokushin, IFK,.. important is the mind and you have a deep kyokushin mind... thanks for your post. Keep training. OSU
Yes, is very similar, I have trained un many countries but this kind of training is part of Kyokushin. Also is important KIHON-Geiko, ura waza, Kata, Ido-geiko, Bunkai kumite, pre arragned kumite and Kumite. The great thing in Korea and Japan is the opening hours despite from europe. In spain is the same as in holland and is quite pitty. I try to train alone to complete the trainings. thanks OSU
I think is depends a lot, I had very hard training in Sweden, Spain, Germany, Thailand and in South Korea. I was also in Japan and the training was very hard too. Sometimes is not so hard, for all places other times is like hell ;-) This video is from my training in South Korea. I think is up to everyone to do it hard. I like tuff, demanding and hard training.. kyokushin for real... OSU
@gameboy010203 Dear, OSU.Thank you for your nice comment, I always try my best and I think you can always learn from others. Is a circle, like in the kanku, the kyokushin symbol, you will always learn. One thing is important to have in mind. people do mistakes but the best is when people realize they did wrong and then they improve. When I was in Japan I was very impressed by a old japanese that just started Karate, he as black belt in life showed so much respect for younger student......
@06a09 OSU, thanks for your insight and you are right, I try always to tell my students now in Spain to have straight back and to not look down or facing down with the head. Thanks. OSU
OSU Sempai (yes I am Shodan, thanks), Thank you very much for your nice comments. I like positive criteria so you can learn more, but as you say some people talk to much without thinking first sometimes. Well, this is not my DOJO, some day I will have one. I am one of the main instructors. I had teh great oppotunity to be an instructor, is a great honor and a very good way to learn more. Yes, many students, is great. I saw some of your videos. Great, really impressed. OSU
Osu... I did not see that... is true... anyhow I can tell you the training was really hard... nice to remember now after almost 2 years ago... I miss the nice training in Asia.. Thanks for your comment... OSU ;-)
@JtotheS09 OSU, Yes I hope so too, my kicks are not the best in high level - I have been focused on this since some time to improve that. When I was in Japan, with the great master Royama he told me to have a slight separation of the fingers. But for sure is something to check also - Thanks for your comments, this will help me. Yes this Dojang is in Seongnam - is one of the best in South Korea- the master is Sabomnim Hong Park and you can find is web page in daum as seognam karate. OSU
OSU, Thanks for your suggestions. Here many practice 3 to 4 hours per day and they do a lot of fights. I agree on the technique part they fail but they have a lot of spirit and they love kumite. When they fight is like they have it in the blood, they are born with the martial art and they do incredible things. Please see the fights I have uploaded and do constructive comments (as until now - really appreciate). Your recommendations sound very good. Thanks again. OSU
OSU, these kind of criteria are always welcome. My English is not 100% good either. Is clear that your first comment is really bad or with bad attitude.. BUT you shown today a nice way and explained in a good way your thoughts. This part is also Karate. Again, thanks for your honest insight. Take care. OSU
Kyokushin is a very hard martial arts, is putting you to the extrem limit, is hardening your body and fists, you can take a lot and the spirit make you hard inside with no pain. Pain is only weekness leaving your body. Soon I will upload our novembre camp with minus degres outside... you will like. OSU
@Krisgomgun the title of the song is 空手道・おとこ道(the way of karate, the way of man) the ending song of the anime "karate baka ihidai" and it was originally sung by Yamazaki Terutomo sensei watch?v=WVJqf-wwHks
OSU, Nice, very well done, the first belt is important and a big step also to fight in tournament. A 3rd place is a very good achievement, continue like this.. keep training. Thanks for your post. OSU
@omarr380 OSU, there are several dojos in Seoul, Iko1, Iko royama, iko midori, Kyokushin union... this dojo is open for any student, this dojo is the best in south korea.. they do not descriminate anyone... osu...
PS. The best part of your treining its the part with spring on your fists and legs- I want to check this kind of activitis. PS2. I'm from Poland, and I'm not english expert so it is a possibility that I made some mistake in my coment. Osu for everyone who is on kyokushin way!
@gameboy010203 I did some muay thai when I was in Thailand, impressive... I liked a lot. again, thanks for your comment. Regards, OSU!, PS: look to my homepage, search kankukan in google and you will find it.
ichi gecki = strike with one hit and defeat the opponent. These are trainings to gain condition, power and accuracy. In South Korea they call this Ichi gecki training because is a hard training. Is also as a motivation. Hope you understand this point. Thanks OSU
OSU, Here a karategi cost from 35 to 60 eur depending on the quality. But probably you can find in a near country to yours. Good luck with everything and keep training and have a pure martial art mind. Thanks again for your nice comments, I always try to have a bushido mind (is hard... hehe) OSU
Protections as mouth guard and groin protection are not obligatory. In competition groin protection is mandatory. Other protections for fists and tibia is used when harder kumite. Sometimes we don't use to get use to not have any protections and to hard the different areas of the body. We do Katas ones per week. Katas is something you have to practice often but not necesary in class. In class is teached the katas but perfection require to train by your self at home. This dojo is open 10H/DAY.OSU
OSU, Around 5 years but you got your yellow belt very fast. In kyokushin yellow belt is the 3rd colour belt (without counting the white) The Highest dan is 10th and only Sosai Mas Oyama has it, at today KAncho Royama has 9th DAN. in my web page you can read about the grades and aprox time. thanks... keep training OSU
i hope ur balance in kicking and technique has improved since u made this video, and when u use knife hand strikes at the end on the makiwara board, why are your fingers slightly apart? and this dojang is in seongnam? i was going to go there, but instead i go to one near seoul. keep at it
OSU, thanks . yes indeed.. I already answered you long time ago, but I want to give you some feedback again. Thanks for your words.. These are the kind of nice message that helps others to improve rather than just kick down or just comment with empty words. Again, thanks to help out. Any time you pass by Madrid please come by our Dojo. OSU.. Kankukan Dojo Kyokushin-Kan Madrid.
Osu! Im no kyokushin karateka, Im shotokan karateka, but Im really interested in K.K. though there are no kyokushin karate in my country, Im well experienced in shotokan karate and lookin forward to start my training in the forest (alone lol) Ive read a lot of kyokushin, I really love this style, great video though, keep it up! Osu! :)
dude what the hell are you talking about this isn't real kyokushin training? What do you mean real kyokushin training is harder than this. I've practiced in tons of different kyokushin dojo's in various places in the world and this is totally consistent with all of they're training.
OSU
