@@mimicbox3 We noticed how ICHILLIN's company would alwasy do the format of having 3 releases, first with 2 Music Videos then their final release being the actual comeback, we're concerned to how it might take a lot on their budget but our fanbase is still low, ik the company is doing great with their promotions but it annoys me how the girls arent getting enough recognition yet, esp in Korea :

I see that their costumes at each promotional stage are very well thought out

I respect your opinion but I feel like objectively their music and especially MVs has been increasingly lower budget in terms of production quality, which makes me sad because the members are so talented! Their older videos and songs were much catchier and more eye catching, especially GOTCHA & Hide & Seek. Their newer stuff isn't bad perse..but it feels a bit amateur in terms of execution and doesn't have that same polish/shimmer that their older music and music videos had (especially Hide & Seek, which seemed like their most high budget comeback).

@@pinklemonaze9982 you're entitled to your opinion of course but I don't know how you can say "objectively lower budget in terms of production quality" when it sounds extremely obvious to me that the quality of production going into their music is considerably higher beginning with "kick-start" than when they started. their first 3 or 4 digital single sounded thin and tinny. the vocal edits were extremely dry as well. kick-start, meme, bite me, and now demigod have been edited so much better. the vocals finally have some layering and punch with good use of reverb. not everything is panned straight down the middle anymore. idk, i think you can not like the newer songs but to say the production is getting worse is just ridiculous.

that's very fair! I apologize if my comment made you upset, I wasn't trying to hurt anyone! Maybe objectively was a bad word choice, but at least to my ears, the production sounds much more - and I HATE to use this word but in this case I suppose it applies - "nugu". Just in the sense that it sounds much more like something that would come from a very small or underfunded group, whereas something like GOTCHA could theoretically be a Stayc or Weki Maki song with little to no change. You clearly know a lot about mixing so I'm not gonna pretend to be any expert here, but their older songs sound much more like the k-pop standard (which in many cases, is a bit thinner/brighter) in terms of production/mixing to ME than their newer songs, which aren't bad by any means but sound more like something from an alternative/different genre artist than a highly produced pop group (which some people might think is a good thing but..). Could just be my ears but when I compare something like Demigod to something like Play Hide & Seek, YES Hide & Seek sounds thin in a way, but I feel like that's the kpop standard? It sounds very clean and polished, whereas Demigod feels much more raw and organic which just isn't really the kpop vibe. As someone who is first and foremost a pop music fan, their songs to ME are progressively less and less produced/mixed in the familiar kpop style! To each their own though, I respect your opinion! @@bench2346

I guess I would just say that their newer songs, Demigod included, I could NEVER hear coming from a larger group in terms of production/mixing (It just has a more amateur-ish quality to me), whereas Gotcha or Play Hide & Seek, while maybe not a super popular CONCEPT nowadays, production wise (especially the very clear sounding vocals) could come from a major group with more monetary backing.
