I know a lot of people struggle with this one and after a comment i recieved on one of my videos in regards to this matter i decided to do a tutorial on how to move water around in your scene the easy way!

Thanks for the tips... Do you know about unreal engine? I would like you to make every damn tutorial about unreal engine! Especially connecting iclone to unreal for animation using livelink plugin

Fbx is better. I usually take the scene in unreal and block it out. With basic shapes or export the objects. (You can merge meshes dead easy in unreal) These come straight into iclone. Simply work out all animations and export. The pain is working everything out on the 0,0 world position. If u got both unreal & iclone set up right it should be a doddle. I used live link and the attachments to my character (gun & gun holster) were in different places and his glasses were off. I imported them FBX and everything was dandy :)
