Wow...think I learned a gold mine of new information and features about iClone 8 I never even knew existed...or maybe just how to find and use them in a practical manner.
The necklace chain may not be worth the effort of using physics (high level of difficulty...likely easier to just add the necklace as cloth or static accessory) but the dangly earrings are pretty easy. Just use a point to point constraint on the dangle with the constraint linked to the earing. Its a similar process as this lantern prop. I might try to whip up a quick tutorial this weekend if I have the time.
Greetings to you, how can you do the movement of getting off the bike and resuming walking without it, and the same is the case with getting off the horse
There is a horse and tack pack from IClone5 that I got on sale which included perform functions for getting the rider onto and off the horse. I used those motions in my "Lonely" short (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JY90q04hoZM.html) at 1:08. There is also a vehicle interaction motion pack that includes motorbike on/off motions (www.reallusion.com/ContentStore/iClone/pack/Motions_for_Vehicle_Interactions/Gallery/contentgallery.html?category=Motorbike). Otherwise you likely have to keyframe the animation. Good luck!
You are the best ! Ty soo much! i cant ty enough for this tutorial i been going crazy trying to figure out how to do that ! I been trying for years since i saw his haunted prop tutorial ! now i can do it thanks to you! Your creativity is amazing ! love your tutorials very much! ! I hate to ask you one more thing ! I was trying to get my character to lift another character in a wrestling bearhug move or a shoulder ride using motion director! But when i do that ! What happens is the arms stay at the side and i dont know what to do from there ! You have any ideas! on how i can make it really smooth so it doesnt snap to positions ! Agani sty sooo much for your help you are the best and a huge lifesaver! Now i can make that haunted scene i always wanted to make ! A huge ghost scene in the house ! Like the noir films! Thanks again!
I find the best solution to position characters while using Motion Director is to use the reach targets. The character will walk around normal while recording but the reach target will adjust the arms/hands once the recording is done. You can see the basic concept in the recent tutorial I made about carrying a tray. Good Luck!
