You can upgrade to Sonoma but you will need to do the entire process again when you enter Mac OS recovery make sure you hold down command option + R that will show the latest Sonoma erase disk utility and go from there install the Mac 💻 os, unfortunately there is nothing that can be done ATM about the power key 🔑 and re-bypassing all the time as it’s a tethered bypass however there will be an untethered bypass coming out soon 🔜 as for how long unsure good luck 🤞
Hello, Can you help..Id like to try this method but my host laptop (Macbook Air A1534 with macOS Monterey version 12.1) would not download the "Apple Configurator" saying it cant be installed on "macintosh HD" because macOS version 14 or later is required. When I try to update software on host laptop, it can only update to macOS Monterey Version 12.7......without the Apple configurator couldn't run the DFU mode on my target laptop. Any insights or advice will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Don't worry. Use OCLP (Open Core Legacy Patcher) to update your Mac. I have used an old 2011 MBP (Sonoma) on a 2019 MBP with activation lock. Good Luck!

This is a new method that was only released an hour ago so I’m not 100% sure how the bypass works if you read the email 📧 notification 🔔 you received it should tell you a little bit about the bypass on there because it’s only 1 hour old see,obviously updating sometimes can be a bit of a problem as apple keep patching things so.whatever Mac OS you have it on keep it on there for now.and I will tell you when it’s ok to update as you know this method is a lot different to the MDM method,so when a new bridge OS comes out sometimes apple patch that until checkm8 find a solution and in all fairness to them they always do. But yes 👍 your good for now.

You don’t have to sign into to iCloud again all your data information and work is still there if you shutdown by pressing the power key or if the battery 🪫 goes dead all you need to do is connect it to your other MacBook 💻 do the bypass power is on and put in your username password and all is there and nothing is lost 👍

Well there both as good as each other as there both premium bypasses you can update to the latest Mac OS,if you do erase the SSD then yes the lock comes back but in both cases there both premium bypass services so you can then unlock them as many times as you want.sometimes apple patch the T2 IC LOCK 🔒 with a new ibridge OS in which case you can’t update until checkm8 or HFZ activator tool has a new method to bypass your MacBook 💻 that’s how it works on T2 for IC ACTIVATION LOCKS.
Yes an EFI FIRMWARE LOCK is actually a permanent removal not a bypass.however if your mac 💻 has either a IC lock and/or an MDM remote management lock you would have to bypass them as well.so if you have an EFI firmware locked 🔒 device it’s best to perform a FMM check and MDM check before proceeding to remove the EFI FIRMWARE LOCK 🔒 I hope this information helps.
Bypass works but I always get error 2003f error when going through Internet Recovery. I tried making a bootable Monterey USB stick but when I choose to install Monterey, it just goes back to Internet Recovery and fails again. What's up with that?

Right once the bypass is done and you select shutdown when you power it back on if it goes to the internet 🛜 recovery page spinning globe you then need to connect it to your host MacBook 💻 open checkm8 select bypass then when you power it on it will ask you for your password the one you set up that prevents the lock 🔒 from coming back.with all your data saved.be advised this is just a temporary tethered bypass and will soon be fully untethered,thank you for your time.

I was able to get to the disk utility screen. Mine shows reinstall Sonoma OS. I let it run and then it still popped up the activation lock. Did I miss something?
No you haven’t missed anything all you need to do now is connect the Mac 💻 in DFU again open checkm8 start the bypass it will then say bypass successful in green and just press the power button on the target Mac 💻 you will now go through the setup ✅
I have explained this so much in the video FOCUS after you get to the Mac OS recovery and you install the latest Mac 💻 OS being Sonoma of course it will then proceed to go to the activation lock page @ that stage you connect to the host Mac 💻 click bypass = bypass complete in green then you just press the power button once that’s it you then go through the setup done ✅
i did it all steps, but in you video after 10 min you loaded recovery mode. Is good, but my mac load to avtivation window again and don`t see it at all wi fi signals, but before i was loaded on wifi. What happend ?

Jail has been compled totaly. 5 sec power button after, option and power button again short click and that. but on video on 11.35 sec u have a macOs revocery, but i have a activation MAc window

Yes this method now works on Ventura and Sonoma you will need to do the bypass again as it won’t update manually it needs updating from the Mac 💻 OS recovery remember to press command options + R 👍

Once the bypass is done ✔️ keep selecting shutdown when powering off your Mac 💻 from the options menu top left down power it down using the power button otherwise you will need to do the bypass again.
