Frequencies restrictions were introduced in Japan in 1991. IC731-100W and IC731S-10W. There were no 50W models. Very popular radio in Japan, especially on auctions, price for nice working one is about USD 50.
Sir, I need your opinion. First, an IC735 that was working fine before was kept in storage for 16 years after the owner passed away. Now, just turns ON. No RX/TX no display. Would having it recapped bring it back to life? Second, someone is selling his old but in mint condition Kenwood TS-680s at a very reasonable price. Do you think it would still last for another 10 to 14 years if there has no recapping done to it and would it be worth buying it? I sure would appreciate it sir. Thank you.
I really have no idea about cb or even if we call it that now days. All I know is my uncle mic and aunties used to spend so much time on the cb and the white nosie calms me down. I really want to get one for home and the car but I don't want to spend a fortune and I don't know everything I need. Is there kits you suggest?
