Nice box! I really like the abh palette. The colors look so pretty on you! Love the other items as well! With cream products like the bronzer I found that less is more especially when first trying a product. Some apply best with a brush, some with a sponge, and some with your fingers. Just trial and error. I have more mature skin so I am using more cream products but there is a learning curve for sure! Looking forward to the next one! I’m currently learning how to use cream products and sometimes I’ll put it on before foundation and that helps! Then I use a sponge to blend my foundation around it
I like adding cream products with my fingers. Then, I apply a lot of makeup with my fingers. I like to do foundation and concealer with my fingers. I've never got into using a sponge. I use either my finger or a brush. Fingers work better for me because I can rub it in a hard or gentle as needed.
Hi Fun that your PR boxes arrived around the same time and that they have different items than mine....my paid for version has the primrose eyeshadow palette so excited to get it even more now...thought the peachy lippie looked good !! I also am the same skin type and also go with more gel moisturizers or lighterweight creams...YES..we can use the creams in our boxes for the rest of our body if it is too much for our face...looking forward to your update on that tool!!
I think this first box made from them merging was awesome ! I just resigned up to try one of these boxes and did the Ipsy ! The box they did pick for me was awesome and perfect! It should be here by Friday but the price was great for what I am getting ! Also did the boost and getting the ola Hendricks cream so I am excited to try !! I wish I got the bronzer but it’s ok ❤❤ seriously learn the cream items to use on your face .. even with oily skin put powder over it will be awesome!! I think you just gotta blend edges more and yes bring up !!
I just wish some of the choices I wanted were not all in the same box, wanted something, but also wanted something else. Was a hard choice this month. I got the reddit to, but I also wanted the Pat MaGrath lipsticks, lol.
I got by Icon box yesterday with three ABH products, including that palette; I'm looking forward to trying it out. I wish I had gotten the boost product after seeing what it was. 🤔 Saw some spoilers of what next months regular box might have for a boost so did sign up for that...but I'm on the wait list now.
I thought it was a fantastic box. You receive some awesome products in it. I'm really intrigued about the skincare device. It'd be interesting if you did a review on it and showed us how it worked. I hated my choices. I had no idea what the gadget was so didn’t pick it. No palette at all. I didn’t want a bronzer and got one. I’m pretty sure this will be my last box. I was so not happy. But we will see once the products get here

Ok, here goes, lol: 1. Blush is usually applied to the cheeks, depending on your age. I am 53 and I sweep blush in a diagonal line starting at the outer side of my nostrils, sweeping upwardly and diagonally into your hairline. A rule of thumb is the older we get, we start further away from the nostril, kinda where your pupil lies naturally and into the hairline. Some people only apply to the apples of their cheeks. After I apply my blush, I take my blush brush and sweep it over the tip of my nose with the leftover blush left in my brush. Blushes can be mauve, pink, coral or reddish colored. You can use cream, liquid or powder formulas depending on your preferences. 2. Bronzer is usually a deeper darker warm toned product used to give your face a sun kissed look. It is usually applied across the forehead just below the hairline, but not on the entire forehead and follows the rest of the sides of your hairline, kind of in the shape of the number 3. It also comes in creams, powder and liquid formulas. I like to also apply it under my jawline. 3. Highlighter is a lighter shade product used just above your cheek bones, down the bridge of the nose, above your brows and under your eyebrows. It gives you a radiant finish. I like to also use it on my cupid's bow and the center of my chin.. They are typically either reflective and glowy, but not glittery. Shades range from champagnes, pale pinks, soft silvers, a pale lilac or white shade. It also comes in various textures as in creams, liquids and powders. I hope this helps hunny, happy makeuping !!!
The eye look is stunning and you don't even notice the cheeks. I could not get the ABH cream bronzer to work. Also EVERY ABH palette I own has terrible fallout.😢
Glad you liked your pr box! I dont like anything in mine :( almost everything either seemed very cheap or is something I keep begging Ipsy to stop sending me.. so that was a waste of $60 for me
I use a much smaller brush to apply bronzer and then use a larger brush to blend it out. I’m not an MUA either, but learned from past mistakes. I received the Primrose palette in my box. One of the shades was broken but I will still use it.
I have one particular brush I use for my bronzer. I apply a light serum on my stump, I'm an amputee, then dip that brush lightly into the serum and into my cream bronzer. I am very very fair and it really does help reduce the darkness for me.

The moisturizer as a foot cream does not sound weird to me at all. Some years back we got the Sunday Riley CEO vitamin C cream in an Ipsy plus and my face did NOT like it. I used that on my hands and feet rather than waste it. Idk, to me it’s like, use it where you can rather than tossing it.
That skin Inc body sculpt was an iteams they picked. They picked it for me as well, and the bronzer Anastasia Beverly Hills pallet. Didn't get the lipstick, but other goodies as well.
I am getting the exact same box you got minus different shade of the lippie ❤I cannot wait to get it .I also picked up the jlo bronzer too and received already and I love the bronze it gives I think could use like that drunk elephant drops as well ❤❤❤..shoot just watched more I am not getting that device but I so wish I did ..
Great box! I don't think the Skin, Inc was a choice because I love that brand and I would have chosen it if it had been. 😊 On a side note, I hope I never get any JLo stuff. I have zero desire to try it.
Hahaha. I have a vibrating tool…for my face! Nothing like that Boost tho. I went today and snagged one from add ons cause I had no clue about it till today. You should dedication a month of trying with before and after pics to let us know how it worked for you.
That's why I'm kind of afraid of bronzers, since I'm so fair skinned. I don't want it to look like I ate a box of chocolates, and smeared it on my face, lol. But yes I would go with a lighter shade.
I think since choice day has already passed you wouldn’t get this box if you upgraded now? Not 100% sure though. They may put the abh shadows as add-ons or in their store though
