Hey futbin if you do (we want) more of these showing icon cards to the icons, would be nice if yall told them the in game stats what affects the main stats like interceptions or acceleration, and then they would guess the overall pace or something like that, i would like to see rio ferdinand next🙏🤝

Normally you see young players looking at their rating and being mad for having low shooting, low pace, etc but this is a rare occasion where it's an icon that is looking at his icon card and being very humble

If I’m not mistaken, rating is calculated by adding all the stats and if it’s an attacker or midfielder, you divide by 5, but if it’s a defender then it’s by 6, if that’s the case, 483(all 6 stats added together) divide 5 is 96, I think the main reason barnes and many other icons don’t have as high rating as their stats may show is that fifa would be too chaotic with all of these overpowered players

I actually think Barnes is a very underated player he has 4 star 4 star and those stats which do not really suck. Of course there are much better players but his stats don't look as bad as the card gets treated

I think fifa overall rating count depending on your position, for example Messis avg rating isnt 91, but since hes a winger in game it doesnt make sense to rate him based on his defending, so that 91 comes mostly from pace, dribbling passing and lil bit of shooting since those are the most important stats for a winger

God, he is making me feel guilty for putting him in an SBC, he is such a nice guy. I will admit 45 Defending is kind of shocking, at least somewhere in the 75+ is adequate. Like, he wasn’t overtly bad at defending and he more or less won back possession when he had a good chance.

I was dying inside when I packed him in the Icon pack... But because I didn't have any left footed winger on my team anyway, so i gave him a try and tbh, it was a sick card couple of months ago, the fact that there are not that many left footed card makes him kinda usable... Sad thing is that they make Icon who suppose to be one of the best card in the game, because they are legend in their era, made them looks bad in game and kids will think that oh theyre not good in the video game means that probably Antony is better Seedorf and Gerrard...

Barnes is one of those players who should have great stats across the board as he could do it all!

FIFA doesn't understand how good professional attackers are at defending. Even some strikers can go back to defend and they can do a pretty good job.

In the late 80s, Barnes was the best player in Britain. Shame he couldn't showcase his talent in Europe as British clubs were banned following the Heysel disaster in Europe.

Sports game ratings have always been and still are a joke. You can easily find a players max speed to see who they're faster than and by using Google or getting in contact with a team's coaching department. Maguire has a very fast top speed, his acceleration is dire but whoever EA employ to do the ratings is clueless.

Fifa is not fair man , just look at thierry Henry's card , the man was a bullet train and look what pace they gave him , personally I think his mid should have 94 pace and his prime 97 atleast , and that 66 balance .EA👎
