You two are hysterical. It's always fun to watch people getting progressively more drunk as the day goes on! Love the fact that you won't need a designated driver! Rock On!!
Thanks for the bar crawl, and I'm glad y'all were not crawling by the end of the night. Like seeing Jay out there dancing. I hope you too are have a great experience on the 7 day cruise.
I have to hand it to both of you. My stomach would be churning with all the different cocktails consumed. And thank god, no Sweet Caroline on this vid. 😂
Thanks for taking one (or 18) for the team! Awesome video idea. Please do it for all new cruise ships! Note: Somehow, I don't believe you finished every glass. LOL
Darn, no tipsy Dee. Jay - have an epic editing thought for you. End of the year - "Sweet Caroline" one word(ish) per clip and by the end of the year, you'll probably be able to have the entire song.
Goodafternoon, you all did vaillantly; wise to 'cheat'. How are the non alcoholic drinks/ cocktails? Would be interested to see a crawl with those and coffee & tea concoctions. Have fun the remainder of your trip.
I plan to hit every bar when we cruise in March. However I'll use the whole week to check them off😃. There are also quite a few other bars like Music Hall. Casino, and even the Windjammer. you might also count restaurant bars like Giovanni's Wine bar, there is even a bar in the Crown Lounge. I'm at 25 and think there are a couple more like the Theater and Absolute Zero.
Interesting that they wouldn’t let you have the food at the bar..kind of the opposite of most places where you have e to order some sort of food before they can bring you a drink 😂( maybe it’s a Utah thing?)
Hi. My 1st time commenting. You both are so much fun to watch & and get the info I need. And oh the places you've been- sweet, my dream. Hope to get Dee info for booking
That looks like a fun experiment with EECC Travels. I've always had to be careful mixing "types" of alcohol. Never cross the grain with the grape is my rule. 9 hours and lots of carbs, and walking and water was a good idea. I like that these bars all had non-alcoholic drinks too.
That was really interesting to see the variety in the bars. Still not sure whether Id ever go on this huge ship but very grateful for your sacrifice in this research!! Impressed with your staying power....
True! We had assembled a list of everything that was listed in the daily program as being a “bar“ and they did not include casino on the list. There are also quite a few bars inside restaurants and things like that that we did not include. :P
This was cute. I have been a bartender in S. Florida for over 20 years and I want to share this with you. Bitters, often used in NA drinks, contains the same amount of alcohol as peppermint schnapps. Anyway, thanks for sharing and enjoy the new ship. I look forward to watching their maiden voyage 🥂🎉🌝
It's kind of a thing in certain parts of Wisconsin (especially Door County) to have shots of Angostura bitters. Supposedly it was a tradition carried from Prohibition because as a "health tonic" it was allowed. I still haven't tried it...though I always put a dash or 2 in my Cherry Coke Zero.
@@jvalley8897 I put it out there because ironically I ended up having a serious medical reaction to alcohol after drinking for years. Also, people have bitters in club soda for a hangover. A hair of the dog thing.
@joyceedwards6112 Oh absolutely...I think it's important to know that there is alcohol in many flavorings and extracts...especially bitters. I know I was shocked when I found out bitters were actually alcoholic (in the bar where they sold shots of bitters.) It's sold in stores that do not sell alcohol otherwise. But...so is vanilla extract...maybe that's how it's categorized.
There is! We had assembled a list of everything that was listed in the daily program as being a “bar“ and they did not include casino on the list. There are also quite a few bars inside restaurants and things like that that we did not include. :P
