Javonne there is nothing wrong with protecting your kids . I have two daughters they are grown but when they were little I didn’t let them stay at peoples houses . So from mother to mother I feel ya girl❤

I'm 55+ and my mom and dad were the same way, no spending the night nowhere so don't even ask PERIODT. Now I was able to spend the night with my older sisters to baby sit, I was around 15-16 then.
Same. Everyone told me I was too strict when I didn’t let my daughter stay somewhere or hang out. Depending on the friend they were welcome to my home.

I was a latch key kid (do your Googles). Growing up, I thought it was just my immigrant Haitian mother’s mistrust and distrust of people but I wasn’t permitted to do sleepovers or anything of the sort (even with family). She’d always say, “You have your own bed and home.” Now that I’m older, I completely understand why. Protect your children at all costs, plus tax.

I went on a cruise one time and it was the worst BUT I think I found the one I’m willing to go on. Looked like so much fun and good times with the fam. You know it is if y’all didn’t even leave the ship!🙌🏾

Crepes are ironic because if you l know you know Akoi Simmons who was caught on vacation with her then 65 year old boy friend was begging for crepes on her way home from the vacation. I said they must be really delicious 😋 because the look 👀 on her face was crazy 🤪 when she thought 💭 he said no to her 😊. I have never had crepes before so I will have to try them now.
