Love your channel! Too bad the smoke from the fireworks ruined the sailaway views for folks on the Icon and every other ship leaving port. It looked like a lovely evening until then.
Wrong. Eiffel tower is 984 feet tall. At the top of Icons 20th deck (not including the funnels) it's 1198 feet tall. Why would you even post that when this info is all Google worthy info?
@@reenakemp9132 She’s not 1198 feet tall. That’s her length. Icon is only marginally taller than the Oasis Class, and those were 236 feet tall to the top of the stacks. Eiffel Tower is 984 feet tall.
The I-Sore of the Seas! 😂 Seriously, This seasoned cruiser looks forward to passenger reviews but has no intention of sailing for a getaway on that monstrosity.
@ostreds OK, OK...It was happy hour when I made my previous comments. I looked at the ports of call for the Icon. My first cruise...of this type...was in 1978. These ports were uncrowded, relaxing, beautiful destinations. I will only say that when I sailed the smaller Mariner of the Seas to some of these destinations it was a nightmare of queues, traffic, multiple ships in Port. I prefer smaller ships and I never want to be in port on a day Icon shows up with between 5500 to 7600 passengers. Take care, Buddy. I apologize for being a smart-ass sometimes...especially at Happy Hour!!
