Join us as we hop onboard at PortMiami for an invitation-only preview cruise, featuring the naming ceremony with godfather Lionel "Leo" Messi. Was on a cruise with them in Sept. Ran into Dee at the Alchemy and I said, let me guess Cucumber sunrise for you and Quick fix for Jay (pretty sure that's his go to). She busted out laughing Yup. I'm really shy but I know I could have chatted. They really are the same in person that you see in their video's. I think that's why I like them so much. Plus, if you jump back and watch the original parodee's then when they first started to record vacations you can TOTALLY see how they have evolved and found themselves. Jay's humor hasn't changed though and I love it because it's the same as my husbands.

That’s y I like them. They’re the most thorough when it comes to explaining the ships out of the cruise channels I seen. Whenever I vlogged my experience on Harmony, I tried to be thorough when giving my cruise ship tour and show a lot of the various activities I had attended. I’d say I did well and one of my friends who watched them agreed

Okay…..I have avoided the mega ships because I just didn’t think I’d like that many people but THIS ship has my full attention. Can’t wait to hear your impressions after sailing with a “regular” crowd. Of course, I’ll have to wait a while because the prices are just ridiculous right now🫤

Wow! I have been waiting for this video. I can’t wait for the ‘real sailing’ video. It is a very big ship. My husband and I want to treat our family for a cruise for our 50th (2025) wedding anniversary. We have been twice on harmony of the seas, and once on oasis of the seas, (plus other cruise lines).We are open for suggestions. 😂..🇨🇦

Glad they did away with the Aqua Theater at the aft. The aft is always my favorite part of the ship. Although not sure the best spot for a kid’s park. But i believe they put plenty of lounging at the aft on the top deck.

Thankee! For the smart elevators, the intent seems to be to key in one button press per passenger. The elevator system would be overloaded and confused otherwise. Say the elevator capacity is ten and a group of ten people shows up, you need to press ten times so the system sends an empty elevator. Otherwise, if you only press once, the system could send an elevator with nine people already in it, and it just doesn’t work. :P

Dee and Jay, thank you as always for the content. You two always try to put as positive a spin on everything as you can. Thank you for that. But I think the Surfside area of this ship is a perfect example of newer or bigger is not always better. I totally understand the wisdom of moving the aqua show to an inside venue so it was no longer so often at the mercy of nature. But transforming this HUGE area into a venue that's basically exclusively for young children, and throwing a bar onto it to lamely quasi appeal to adults also, but totally missing that mark, was a BIG mistake! Even sailing at full or over full capacity, I'm certain area will be practically a ghost town. It's just not that appealing at all.

We were on Wonder for the 14 and 21 Jan (b2b) cruises. The muster/safety videos show up day of the cruise on the app. We watched it in our hotel on 14 Jan. So, while it's true it's not available til day of, you don't have to be on ships' wifi.

We prefer to do carry-on only when we can. No waiting for luggage delivery, unpack as soon as we want. If we travel with large suitcases, those definitely get checked with the porters!! :D

Oh my goodness, not sure if I could handle that large of a ship. Carnival Horizon is the largest I have been on I believe. Have you seen Rover, the CDO? Love this about Icon of the Seas. Question, why do you need to select the desired elevator deck for each person if both are going to the same floor?

In theory it is to account for space in the elevator. It designates so many spaces per elevator. I'm guessing it is based on capacity of people per elevator.

Ok I "understand" the concept of the towels in the shower to save room BUT they get wet and defeats the purpose of having dry towels. It is kind of obnoxious to have to move them out to take a shower. JMHO. They need to have a sign "mind your head" to go out and in the balcony.

Do you all find it very inconvenient on cruises on say... NCL, where you for example leave a port, say NYC travel to the end of the cruise, most likely another country, then have to find transportation back to NYC, then back to the port you left your vehicle, seems to me that would be such a pain. Ive never done that kind of a trip, especially knowing I could spend another $500-1000 on airfare back.

We are doing our first one way cruise next summer but we have to fly to and from the ports. I have clients doing a one way in April and they chose a cruise that ends in their home port so they will park and then fly to the starting port and at the end they can take the shuttle back to the airport.

It will be so interesting to see how this difieres on the actual paid sailing. This ship is huge and at full capacity…only time will tell but seems like it would still be crowded and so loud. What do you all do if you get over stimulated on boarding day while waiting for your rooms?

Fantastic video, pity about the ship. TOO big and TOO Glitzy. It's more of a floating theme park rather than a cruise ship, BUT, if that's what the general public want, let them enjoy! Me, I prefer the mid size and smaller ships. I was on Explorer a couple of years ago and Wonder pulled up alongside at Coco cay and dwarfed us, in size and passengers. Thanks for all the info, but ICON is definitely not for me.

So far, so good, but I have to say that I’m not impressed by the carpet in the stateroom…..at first glance it looks like it’s already worn out by the way the colors change into each other. Like it’s been vacuumed ten thousand times and worn off the color in -laces. Then again, I’m not a decorator, what do I know! Lol 😆

THESE PRICES AREN'T FOR EVERYONE. I CERTAINLY CAN'T AFFORD THIS SHIP SO IT'S APPEALING TO PEOPLE THAT HAVE ALOT OF MONEY. PLUS TOO MANY PEOPLE FOR ME AND WAY TOO LARGE. HOW THEY BOOK THIS TO FULL CAPACITY IS MIND BOGGLING TO ME. CRUISING IS GETTING OUT OF CONTROL

nope not for me. when you're on a cruise I want to be at sea not in a hotel. If I want to stay in something that looks like a hotel as this ship is I'll stay in hotel. All these cruise companies are making these ships all the same and they are losing the feel of cruising and being at sea. Open up the decks and reduce the tallness of the glass surrounding you on open decks

I have to say I don't find this ship beautiful in any way. The interiors are a bit garish like a carnival and too much like a shopping mall. It just doesn't look as sophisticated or modern like the new Norwegian or Celebrity ships. This is fine for families, but not for me.

Enjoy your videos & am an avid cruiser 👍. My opinion to many people, inside park balconies are useless, noisy, and no privacy 👎. Prices are OBSURD AND A RIP-OFF👎👎👎. Single person inside room in September is $7600+ taxes??? No way👎. Call it like I see it!!. We will see if prices drop in the next few years? Have a great time U2👍. Blessings 🙏🌺🌸🌼

Given that cruises to Perfect Day are just as expensive as when it opened, I doubt prices will improve anytime soon unfortunately
