We were there that day on that "little" Vision of the Seas. It's the only RC ship that sails out of Baltimore and we love it. It has the friendliest and the best crew in RC! It was fun watching Icon back into its parking space on the pier and there were several hands waving across the way between passengers on both ships. It was a gorgeous day and lots of fun - our very first time at Coco Cay. And the stunt plane was an unexpected bonus.

20:10 I think they did a great job of relocating the Aqua Theater on this class. I was never a fan of it taking up the entire aft. This is now a beautiful useable space while there is no show going on. I love the forward views through the glass and eateries/bars/shops.

We were on Wonder 14-28 Jan and went to CC twice. The first visit was on Jan 15 with Icon and we got to see the Red Bull stunt plane. That was some crazy flying. We're on Vision in April and have tickets to Hideaway. We always get off the ship early in CC so we have a choice of seats and shade. We were back there on 27 Jan with I think Liberty. We'll be there with Freedom the day we're at Hideaway so it won't be too crowded. We have pictures of Wonder and Disney docked next to each other. Looking forward to April and hopefully our weather will be good.

Glad to hear you say that about Vision, we booked a cruise on Vision in Nov. our last cruise was on Wonder, so I was a little worried about Vision being so much smaller. Love the tour of the hideaway!😊

Vision is wonderful. We did two cruises on Vision this year. Their crew is the friendliest, the hardest working, and the best. They do so much to keep passengers busy and entertained. You will love it.

To get off in ports, they use the escalators, yes! Back in Miami, nah. You just walk out on Deck 5 same as you came in. :D

I think after seeing all of the new videos of hideaway and hearing that loud music, I might cancel and just go to anything area... Do you know if the music is very loud down by the ocean or if you can hear the music at all?

The music is not nearly as bad down by the ocean, though. It’s mostly anywhere in and around the heated pool. It didn’t even seem super bad over by the food eating areas or necessarily at the oceanfront bar.

Yes you book then in advance. Theoretically it is supposed to be available to book 30 days before the cruise. But ours popped up about a week and a half before the cruise. So You just have to keep checking.

The price seems to vary depending on which ship you’re on. For our inaugural sailing, it varied from about $70-$100 per person depending on which sale you caught it under.

Hideaway looks nice, but is the music level so high I makes conversations difficult? I have it booked for a Haloween cruise. Or would the beach club be a better choice at a much higher cost?

We spent the whole time in the pool basically yelling at each other, hah… not great for relaxation or conversation. The beach was quieter, and the restaurant areas were sort of okay, but the pool is where the party is!! :P

This is the first video where I’ve seen the resident dog, one of the top reasons I would book Icon if the prices ever come down a bit. Hideaway Bay looks nice but I think the loud music is not for me.
