Ozil was better. Unfortunately he spent much of his time in the Arsenal banter era. Look at his numbers, he has better numbers/ratios than Fabregas/Silva/Mata/Cazorla who were all among the best as the Spaniards dominated (not Including Xavi/Iniesta as they are in a league of their own). But Ozil was under appreciated

he sued ea because he wasn't getting paid, when he was a player fifa had a deal with ea and they could use all players who compete in fifa competitions, now that zlatan is retired, hence not apart of fifa anymore they need to pay him for his image rights otherwise he will sue to get his money. Same thing with maradona, his family sued because he died and they want more money from ea for his image

It's not even about the seasons really, he's just not in an icon level for me. Hero is good for him. Sure he has some memorable moments and was an absolute baller but so did other heroes and the ending of his career was pretty horrendous.

Ozil did it in LaLiga, Premier League and even in The Turkish League which is actually pretty competitive but he did so well considering his age. And Ozil basically invented (I wouldn't say invented but he's famous for it) his signature chip shots and pass and he's iconic for Germany too so for that I'd say Ozil deserves an icon but it's your opinion so I ain't gonna make it a big deal.

Nah Thiago Silva was heavily underrated. People back then used to say " He has to do it in the premier league" or " He only plays in farmers' league" Now that he performed in the PL despite having much better performances in his early days people finally acknowledged him.
