Está espectacular esa Jeep Wagoneer, excelente construcción y muy buen gusto, yo tuve una de 1979 V8 y son geniales cómodas suaves al andar, la de este video está en otro nivel, me encanta los felicito 👍👍👍👍💪👌
@@JeepCherokeeful - I wonder how many of the beautiful vehicles ICON builds actually get driven to their capability. I'm thinking most are just garage queen status toys for top out of sight rich people.
Definitely time to bring back men wearing proper hats! Nice Wagoneer, wish I could afford one, but like a Monet or a Renoir, they sure are pretty to look at.
Since there's no Price included during your talk,or under the "More" heading,it's one of those "If you have to ask,you can't afford it" things.129K want to know.Ya know?
Amazing attention to detail and craftsmanship - only thing I would change is the cookie-cutter LS 5.3 engine. Yeah, I know they are reliable and make power, but 0 points for creativity. Put one of the Edelbrock aluminum heads on a Jeep 4.0L stroker engine, turbo or supercharge it, and you would make good power and have something unique.
there is paint damage all around the logos that's pretty clear. Not sure if that's from poor polish removal or over polishing which has damaged the paint. Best case its residue
This one like all Icons is beautifully built, engineered, and impressive, and this one like all Icons is too damn tall and the tires are too damn big and it kills the proportions,,,, sorry....
He probably has a number of vehicles. But I agree with you there. It would be heavily used by now if owned it. Really see how good it off road. Should be pretty kool. Jon made a scale rc that was pretty awesome, and does well. I imagine full size is better.
Hard to believe it’s been four years since I watched the first video. Still looks amazing. If I remember right it was an astronomically expensive build, sure it’s still a pretty penny now. Doubt it will hang around long though, it got a lot of media attention when first built.
Nice hat Jonathan! What happened - dude couldn't guess your weight? 😆🤣😂... Just kidding - and this must be the coolest wagoneer ever. You sir are a true artist and craftsman!
Surely this hat is styled after the Uncle Sam's hat from the "I want You to enlist..." wartime poster. I say, Jonathan, it is quite fitting, we are living in trying times, sir.
This truck was on Nantucket Island, MA 2-3 Summers ago. I was in SHOCK when it passed by me going the other direction!! I finally saw it parked in a lot downtown and took lots of photos of it. It's even more incredible in person. I have to say I think this is the most beautiful and astonishing trucks you've ever done.
You, sir, have my actual dream job. I've always loved these old Jeeps from the 60s, but your recreation is just mind blowing; they're an elegant and "very 60s" design, but they are also incredibly under-appreciated and growing increasingly rare to come by these days. It sees you really have gone all-out, and capitalized on their essence with this build. I'm seriously in a mascara ruining type of awe over this machine!! I wish I could get my own 67 Gladiator to be even a 10th of this!!
Creating the highest quality product combined with the ingenuity and creativity to make it unique doesn't come cheap. I'm pretty sure I "get it". Your prices reflect the effort, many hours, and talent involved in the process.
I love that Wago! My dream is to someday send you my J-10 to be done in Reformer fashion, that way you guys will have remastered 2 of the 3 Full Size Jeeps!
I took my driver's test in our '84 Jeep Wagoneer. Two tone brown and lighter brown, haha. I'd love to find one to fix up someday but in Southwestern Pennsylvania, most of them have turned to a granular reddish powder by now.
My dad bought the first Wagoneer released in 1963 made by Willy's. I really miss that jeep. It was white with a bulldog on the hood and had a Buick V6. Great vehicle.
You do beautiful work and a unique and respectful approach to the original design. America had its own kind of 'expression' in those early car years (that influenced everyone else and not vice versa) that was very strong and confident. I know you do tons of research, do you know the names of the designers of these vehicles or even some of the design team? It would be great to hear their names (your mention of Brooke Stevens was perfect). From a designer.
Wait you feel that this video is so important that you feel you need to put a premiere notification in RU-vid rather than just post the silly thing. Oh my you are so confused.
It’s purpose is to create hype and stamp their logo and brand and have you thinking about them more. Essentially marketing. Nothing wrong with it. All business aim to put themselves in your head.
