@@zoogaji yes, they slowed the beat which made it more boring even though that’s not the vibe they’re going for. the lyricism was mid and repetitive at best, compared to their other masterpieces like i am. even their japanese track wave and the pepsi song were better. saweetie’s rap literally saved the song, which speaks volume because her verse was average. as a dive, i’ll call out mediocrity when i see it bc i believe in the girls’s talents to do MUCH better. let’s not even talk about the concept/outfits being so recycled from baddie/kitsch plus their stage fits. it’s nothing new and the terrible promo has been such a let down. this is their FIRST english song, such a waste. they could’ve gone full out perfect night or cupid and gotten the right success, this just seems low effort compared to all their other songs. even bsides like holy moly and blue blood are better.
