Steve Harvey was, and still is, the perfect choice to host Family Feud. In July, he entered his 13th year of hosting the show. I honestly thought that when Bob Barker retired from The Price Is Right in 2007, my love for the game show world died; but Steve has kept my love for the game show world alive. I just realized how dark that last answer was for being buried alive. For those that don't get it: You could slowly suffocate/starve to death, or you can get it over with quickly on your own if you know what i'm saying.

"Name something you might lock a door before doing?" This question is asked in a slightly confusing way. Its not very straight forward so your not certain what is being asked....therefore not sure of how to answer. Heres a better way to structure that question. Name something your would do after locking your doors?
I don't really believe those are real surveys. It's always 95 votes in the answers on the board combined. In a lot of questions, there would be much wider variations.
They omit answers when just one person says it. And they consolidate similar answers. For the buried alive round, someone might say gun, someone might say weapon, someone else might just say something to kill themselves with. And they throw out surveys when they get more than eight specific answers that they can't consolidate. And sometimes there are just bad answers due to the area the question is being asked.
The Firefighter family gives the dumbest answers lol They are trying too hard to be cerebral and think outside the box. Typically the answers are the most obvious answers imaginable.
It's not sinister really...its for the viewing figures...the families regularly come from blue collar communities which ensures enthusiasm and funny answers...😂 Imagine how boring it would be to have educated people on this show!
