I was absolutely enthralled hearing Dot's story at the beginning as she was an incredible storyteller. I was only 11 when that episode first aired so certainly didn't appreciate it at the time.

Dot was a real raconteur, nice that the others listened intently and weren’t like get on with it or whatever. Go June! Shirley is rough as, ugh! Peggy humiliating Frank and Pat was so Bet Gilroy, how fab was Barbara! Some of the classic and early characters deserved to be featured too - Angie, Pauline, Michelle, Kathy, Lou, Sue Osman…

Suki and Ash should’ve been replaced by Ronnie and Roxy, it’s laughable that they’ve even made the list. Even Stacey and Jean would’ve been a better fit.

Been in it 5mins. They're hardly iconic. Ronnie & Roxy, Jean & Stacey, Angie, Pauline, Lou, Mary the punk. They're the sort of iconic character's we needed to see.

If I turn on EastEnders now, I haven't got a clue who anyone is. If there's a shot of the Queen Vic it reminds me I am in fact watching the right programme. Pay some ££ and bring back some iconic characters and stop wasting time on rubbish characters nobody cares about
